there\'s nothing to debate, the PS2 is enjoying strong sales riding a couple of AAA titles

Although I\'m curious to know what GT3 did for US and European console sales

I Heard that,

GT3 sold over 1 million in the US
and over 200,000 in Europe

The chart above is not meant to compare the GBA and the ps2, they are not against each other, it is rather to guage the sales of the ps2 from week to week. Using this chart you can notice how FFX has effected sales and I find it interesting.

Welp I was more interested in Hardware sales effects since the GT3 bundle is out

200,000 in a few days :) (frpm what I heard, its not offical)
Thats alot considering how many ps2s are there right now
I\'m not sure what the date of GT3 was, but i\'m sure its somewhere
it reacts with the chart nicely, but FFX has a much more dramatic effect.

Post by: The Answer #3 on July 27, 2001, 04:53:07 AM: Wow. The PS2 is looking stonger all the time now. Those AAA titles (FFX, GT3, TMB, NBA Street etc....) have really helped the PS2. Dont hear as many people saying now that the ps2 is dead and has no good games

Post by: PSXXX on July 27, 2001, 02:42:34 PM: What next big title is ready to launch in Japan? If they can keep selling over 150,000 PS2 a week till the NGC and X-Box launch they will increase they advantage with at least 3,000,000 more PS2.
