Anyone here old enough?
I had a ZX Spectrum 48k and added a 128k a few years on.
-
ya i had a commodor 64 but i was extremely young !
-
I had a C-64. I had a TI-99-4a before that. Had to save on a tape drive because the disc drives were super expensive. Had to buy this huge expansion box for it. Bought the C-64 because I could finally save on disc.
Everyone remember EPYX Summer Games?
-
Indigo Imac, eh?
I speak for myself and nO-One. Welcome to the board. We could use a few Mac fans.
:)
-
I\'ve had a C64 and later an Amiga 500. Damn that machine kicked a$$.
-
THE AMSTRAD WAS MILES BETTER THAN EITHER
Yeah though I remember them. I had the 3rd competitor, the Amstrad. A load better. Better graphics, better sound for the same games.
I latter got an Amiga 500.
Welcome to the board.

Glad to see that there is another Mac User on the board!!!

I had a ZX Spectrum 48k - it ROCKED! I used to subscribe to Your Sinclair when I lived in England - they used to have some of the best game demos with each issue.

Welcome to the board.
Thanks, as a Newbie to a large Messageboard I am surprised how friendly everyone is!

He ! I would throw away my pentium for a new Apple G4 anytime,
now Maya runs on OS X. I worked with apples a few times in my
trainee months, it was relaxed.
But to return to the topic, I remember my dad\'s IBM XT. I played
castle, test drive by accollade and california summer games.
The bmx track racing and halfpipe skateboarding rocked.
A friend of mine had MSX 1 or 2. It rocked too.
Knotter8:)

My work computer is a Mac. A Titanium G-4 with 512 Meg of ram and a 30 gig hard drive.
I still like my PC better though. Software is just too freaking expensive for the Mac.
-
I had a Timex Sinclair 2068.
Then a C-64 when I was a Sophmore in High School (1984). I still have it:)

LMAO! Stanzo, man I thought I was the ONLY one here who used to read YS - what memories. POKES (those codes) ruled!! Did you have a subscription? I remember when you subscribed they gave you a choice of freebee games - I got Dragon Ninja (known as Bad Dudes on the NES in the States) with my first subscription. Shh!!et! I loved that machine, and I loved that mag - those guys were friggin\' hilarious. The demos/games were brilliant too - do you remember; Dustin, Vatman, and of course,
ADVANCED LAWNMOWER SIMULATOR[/i]
:)
A present for you, it will make you all teary-eyed with nostalgia;

Thanks to any of you that have joined my Com***ore/Spectrum Forum!
I only launched it 8 weeks ago so hopefully we can get the place a bit more lively in the coming months, if any of you other nostalgic people would care to join I would be grateful!
http://www.loadedforum.uni.cc
Registration for a Free Global Account only takes around 3 minutes and then you post on any ezboard without having to ever register at one again.
Once again thanks.

Here\'s a link to a site about David \'Whistlin Rick\' Wilson (The guy who made that YS tune"
http://homepages.enterprise.net/cavan/ysac/rick.shtml
Note: This guy is now the head of PR at SCEE. Just goes to show what comes of people.
