i love the MGS2 artwork..
also dont forget to pre-order your RE:CV X at your local EB, if you pre-order it, you get the LIMITED EDITION Weskers Report DVD

also, i dont know why they have to add the RE: 5th anniversary Edition on it, its not going to make it special

Can\'t...wait...any...longer...for...Metal Gear...Solid 2...:D That box art is awesome. It\'s better than "OK". I think the Resident Evil one looks a little weird, but in a good way...;)

I love MGS2 cover, sometimes plain is better, it just look cool. RE: CV X try to put prerendered characters and try to make it look pretty. Not that I don\'t like it, it just i prefer plain than pretty graphic.

Yeah...I hate flashy covers...unless the gameplay graphics are close to par with it. Otherwise, it\'s almost like false advertising...in a certain point of view. I like just plain covers, too. I love the MGS2 box art...:D :rolleyes: :shy: :rolleyes: :shy: :D

yea i think that box art should be just that - art not something that looks like it was cut and paste
thats why i like the MGS2 one and other box art like Ring of Red - those are nicely done

Augest 29th now for RE:CVX? Damn. I was hoping to get it Augest 15th (the original date I heard). All well, at least I can still play it before I go off to college. :(
RE:CVX box art looks nice. The MGS2 box art...it looks okay. Certainly better then the old MGS1 box art (just a logo against a white plain).

looking good, i think the re:cv could of looked better. but i dont really care what the cover looks like more what the game play like and when there out

Not impressed with either of the boxs.
As for Weskers report, I believe you get that at any store you pre-order it. At least that was the impression, I am under. I reserved mine at Babbages. And the advirtisements for the game all mention the special DVD.

I can\'t believe I am about to say this but I really don\'t care much about the MGS2 box art, IMO it kind of sux. I was expecting a little something different like Snake standing on the box with Metal Gear Ray in the backround. I still plan on getting MGS2 though anyway.:o

i got an email from work, stating that the Weskers Report is for Pre-Orders ONLY and will have LIMITED Quantities..FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.

So if there are tons of pre-orders, then the people who signed up last don\'t get it? Though I doubt this game will get tons of pre-orders, but you may never know...

so far my store got 60+ preorders and like 5 reserves and alot of time left..the Weskers DVD is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. so i guess if you dont come pick up your game the day it comes out and the promo DVD is finished i guess theres no more. so in other words, even though you pre-ordered it, doesnt mean you get it, its a first come first serve, so dont wait for the next day to pick it up and still expect to get the weskers DVD. i know when the DVD\'s come in, im putting 3-4 promo DVD\'s on the side for me :-D

also, i dont knwo why people drooling over the RE: CVX cover since its the SAME as the DreamCast cover..but with maybe 1 or 2 things added to it. other then thats its the same cover

Well, since I haven\'t even pre-ordered yet, I guess I\'m out of luck with Wesker\'s Report :( (though it would be something nice to have, its not nesscessarily since I would still have RE:CVX and Devil May Cry demo to play :)).
The RE:CVX cover, nothing special. True. Still nice looking IMO (even if its the same, relatively, to the DC box cover).

its still not too late. when i mean "first come first serve" i mean the first to pick up the game will get the DVD, not the first to preorder it. so you can preorder it right now and still be able to get the Weskers DVD if you get to the store early when the game hits.
also the release date for the game has been pushed up to,
