I would love to live in Chicago right now.
Tekken 4 is going on test today on US soil for debugging purposes. If you are lucky enough to live in the greater Chicago area you can get a Tekken 4 sneak peek at the following location.
Cyberstation
Golf Mill Shopping Center
235 Golf Mill Shopping Center
Niles, IL
And a new feature has been found in Tekken 4.
For the past few months we have all concentrated on the obvious new features in Tekken 4 such as the introduction of walls. But there is much more to Tekken 4 besides the new characters, new moves and walls.
After a few days of play in Japan a more unknown hidden addition has been uncovered, which for now we will label the "Just Frame Technique". It has been adopted from other fighting games such as Soul Calibur and Tobal 2.
The Just Frame Technique requires exact timed command input or your string will not work. For example lets say you have a 1,2,3,4 attack string. In the previous Tekken games the execution was fairly liberal, you can sort of mash it out. In Tekken 4 is becomes a little more skillful as the last part of that string requires exact timing, if you do not push 4 between the 12th and 15th frame of the 3\'s animation for example, your string will not be finished.
At this point we do not know if any of the old moves have received the Just Frame Technique overhaul, but various new Paul moves such as the d+4,2,1 and f,f+2,1 require perfect timing for execution.
I hope all of the moves have this new Frame Technique. It will make Tekken 4 a more skilled game, and will get rid of the scrubs.

sounds cool, but u had to do that on some big combos any way, like on kings throws or the 10 hitters.....one move i could never do is pauls one where he gets them on the floor, hit them one side, then twice on the other the flipped them up, and sorta snapped there backs!!!!!!!!! its like the 2nd hardest move in the game to pull off

I remember back in Tekken 2 when I was trying to learn Paul\'s neck break move. It took me like two months before I could do it any time I wanted to. I can\'t do it any more because I went so long without using Paul. :( The only move that is harder to do is Nina\'s Bad Breath move IMO.
EDIT: I just tried to do that move again to see if I still could do it. After like 5 or 6 trys, I could do it again. :) It is a pretty easy move if you do these two things:
First, make sure you release Down before pressing the 4, 1, 1+2. That was the biggest problem that I had.
Second, use button buffering to get the 1, 1+2 part. After you release Down, tap 4, then press and hold 1, then tap 2 while holding 1. That makes it very easy to do.
