Title: So is the Xbox still no going to have a lock out?

Ok is it still true that if i was to buy an american Xbox,that i could then play UK games on it as, alittle while ago i heard MS say that they didnt want lock outs,they wanted the Xbox to be Multi region!so is it still going to be that way?

MS has said nothing stating otherwise so it is more and likely still a go for no regional lock-outs.

you think the MPAA willl allow having a multi-region DVD player? They raised a mighty stink when the first batch of PS2\'s could read US DVD\'s with a few buttong presses.

MS said it will be up to the developers to offer regional lockouts on games. So I guess we will have to wait til launch to fiind out which or if all the developers put lockout in their launch games. And as for dvd there has to be region lockout on dvd\'s ms has to abide by the guidlines on that.
