Oh yes...I think it may be coming to the PS2, but don\'t quote me on that. Apparently, it\'s already in development. The company\'s cheesy website will soon be revamped though. Kudos to them...;) Here\'s the link...

They haven\'t mentioned anything or shown anything about the game yet, so I have no idea. It\'s supposed to be like the first one, so it could possibly be 2D...who knows?

Toejam & Earl 3 was canceled on the DC! They haven\'t named another system yet...
It is 3D, and it wasn\'t looking all that hot anyway...

Nope. When Sega Genesis came out at a Best Buy-now a Pet Store-Toejam and Earl 2 was there when it came out. So nope not full of it today only when I eat pizza.

The original Toejam and Earl was simply awesome. You have presents scattered around levels that you would collect, and they would do things like give you super speed or give you the ability to kill enemies (normally you can only avoid them) You never know what\'s inside a present until you either open one or have the Sage guy tell you. Sometimes presents had bad stuff, like the dreaded Randomizer, which would randomize the contents of all the presents in the game, or the one that instanly kills you, or puts you to sleep, or messes with your controls. There are 30 levels, but each level is random, and there are literally thousands. If you fall off a cliff on one level, you are dropped back to the last level. You have to search these huge levels to find pieces of your spaceship. Not every level has one, there are 10 pieces in 30 levels. TJ&E was one of the best games ever to come out in the 16 bit era.
TJ&E2 sucked ass. It was NOTHING like the first one.

yeah the first one rocked, it was a kinda top down view, the second one sucked, i hate crappy 2d platformers, when i saw the second i was like i gotta get this, i rented it...thank god. cos its soooooo crap.
i remember when i completed it with my bro, that was soo cool, you got to walk around your home planet and talk to everyone

Yeah...I remember how I beat the game...;)
I had about 200 dollars saved up from the game, and I had almost no energy left with no lives. I was quite frightened at this point on level 36 I think it was.
I finally saw the last ship piece about 20 feet from my spot. There were about 30 bad guys on the screen. I knew I was gonna die. And then I found that stupid opera singer that kills everyone on the screen when she sings.
I just paid her with all of the money I had as I slowly made it to the ship piece. It was great...;) She walked so slow that it took like 20 minutes, though :rolleyes:
This is my favorite game of all time...or at least on my top 5 list...:) Those were the good ol\' days.

I would like to know how far they are in production, if it\'s been canceled on Dreamcast, and if so, what system it will be coming to next, and so on...
I haven\'t been able to find any articles on it...:(

That was all they had to say on the matter for now. While certain to spark rumors that the game has been canceled for Dreamcast, fans can be comforted by viewing the impressive footage shown at E3, and by the fact that the site still explicitly promises a Dreamcast version. As always, SegaWeb will have more on the title when it becomes available.

So pricks don\'t go around trashing Sega for selling out and lying about bringing their games to DC this year.
The public can\'t have it both ways, and since it is a Sega game, it deserves to be a SEGA system.

Right...kind of like Ninja Gaiden on PlayStation 2, althought that was originally a nintendo game...
