This game is on my most wanted list.

Great! :bounce:
I hope they don\'t send as many pointless battles at you this time, because 9 was a great game IMO, but it had way too many fill-in-the-time-battles.. all random, and all meaningless.

All I ever hear is the good news. The only complaints I\'ve heard is random battles and a little too much cinema. But that is an intrical part of the series. What some see as flaws I see as "not-flaws," sorry, my vocabulary took a dive, too much yegar(sp?).

I don\'t even think Yegar is a word.
Also...even if the game had random battles...you\'d have the time go by because of the constant gawking at the wonderful visuals. And the cinemas for this game are supposed to be incredibly awesome...;) Nothing anybody says is going to keep me from buying this game...unless they tell me the game is only 3 hours long or something (even though that can\'t be possible for a Final Fantasy game).

!~I love it~!
Seriously though, i heard that there are no SUB-PLOTS and that you don\'t get to travel in the world map fully, untill near the end (not that there is any sub-plots or anything) it sounds like it\'s starting to nudge its way over to a movie, oh well... if only they put in an arcade like in ff7 :)

I know it\'s not even close to how you spell it. But that\'s the closest I can get to how it sounds.

Trog, do you mean Jagermeister??
If so that\'s some nasty shiz!... Oh, and Hurray for FFX:)

FF10 is going to own, I hope they crank up the battles cuz that\'s what Final Fantasy is all about, I hate these new poser fans that come in and complain the game isn\'t all story. The game should be nothing but story AND battles man. You\'ll get bored just pressing X over and over reading text. U gotta get into the story, have an evil character kill one of the good characters you like, getting mad about it, and owning him hardcore ya know? You have to fight a boss, and either barely kill him or die, reload your save, gain some levels so you can go back and kick his ass, it\'s all about stopping what you are doing, gaining a couple levels to stay on top of your game. That\'s what the real fans want.

Look how many were excited over this game. Has it been a year already?

You meant to say "Look how many people were over-excited over this game" ? :p
Weird thing that it scores perfect in many places, since it\'s far from perfect (= FFVII)...
Er... who am I to talk, I don\'t even have the damn game yet :p

I\'ll post later my personal review of FFX, after finishing it.

got this game a few days ago, played it for 9 hours straight. Man this game is incredible! after the (bit of a) disappointment that was ff8 (it wasn\'t bad, but ff7 just was too much better) and the semi good ff9, I\'m telling you, ffX is definately a must buy, not only does it poop out some incredible graphics and have a great storyline, the battle system is by far the best ever made. I mean you just gotta love the fact that you can use all your characters in a single battle (by switching with L1), but the greatest thing is it\'s semi active time battle system, whichs means the battles are turn based so you can think your strategy through, plus not having to hurry through the scrollbars, and at the same time, time plays a factor, because the time you have to wait can vary, thus you are able to, for instance, do two actions in a row with the same person.
YAY!

a certain dutch mag gave it a bad score, just like they did with MGs2
-
let me guess, POWER UNLIMITED?
No magazine sucks as much as this one does,
what the hell happened with it? I used to like it, but it has taken a flight to poopland a great while back

There\'s nothing I can say but this thread is OLD!!!!

It\'s a good game but it\'s way too linear, and has waaaaaaaay too many cinemas.;)
