 A Very very good looking game
"The game has all the basics of a modern extreme sports title: 10 real-life surf spots, 13 legit pro surfers, and a good deal of genuine surf gear (including imprints like Oakley, Quicksilver, and Volcom). Backing those up is a set of convincing wave physics, an engaging control scheme, and an amusing game setting--one that\'s under the influence of some intriguing game rules."

"TransWorld Surf\'s game mechanics seem to fit the theme well. You start each run paddling your board in the water, facing an upcoming swell. From there, you can either opt to paddle to it or summon a Jet Ski to get you there instantaneously. Once riding the base of the swell, you press the A button to stand up, and off you go. From there, you can choose to either weave through the outer edge of the wave or close in the pipeline--both of which would provide you with a camera view that is both suitably dramatic and welcomingly functional"

I would expect better water effects from XBOX. :(

I think it looks nice. The draw distance is far and it looks sharp. I just hope it runs @ 60fps.

Looks very promising.  I expect the graphics to get a bit better though.

Ok, i have seen the movie, :eek: :rolleyes:
The guy on the board behaves like a skater, not a surfer, IMO.
It looks cheesy, maybe they will fix his moves later on... :rolleyes:  :D Maybe it was the movie or something, but it appeared choppy ... :D

I said the exact same thing when I first saw the movie, but the water looked nice( splashdown still looks way better:D ).

I\'m on a T1 and it was streaming full screen.

This game looks pretty crappy. You\'re right, he looks like he\'s skating and not surfing. It\'s really lame. The water doesn\'t look all that great either...what a disappointment...

It does look abit weird.
The moves are rubish..

The screens make the game look better, when the video makes the game look like crap.

fastson showed me those pics some days ago... the water effects are the same of Splashdown.
