I think that was the most simple mini-game ever invented.  Think about it.

are you talking about the boost for the GF\'s?  how when they are attacking, you hold down select, and hit sqaure repeatedly to increase the power?  if so, thats hardly a mini-game

FF8 was actually challenging until I discovered Boost.

lol - I remember boosting my fingers to the limits - and sometimes I just had to stop playing because of really great pain in my fingers ;)

:D :D I discovered this almost in the final of the game :D If not, I wouldn´t have fingers right now.

Sure it is, maybe not one that your use to with all the fancy graphics, but the point: press the button as fast as you can to reach an end result: more damage.  I think that classifies a mini-game.
