I find it really sad that someone can become so famous that they \'crack\' simply because they aren\'t allowed to be \'themselves\'.
I mean, on the Austrlian TV show \'Rove Live\', Mariah was being interviewed by Rove, the host, and she kept saying \'freaking\', because she wanted to, but someone in the background kept getting angry at her, because she wasnt allowed to say it cause it didnt fit with her nice \'pop\' image.
I think that would suck big time...

Guys, i have to apologize to some of you, i know some of you like Mariah a lot, and i have been a bit wild with her the last few months, she usually comes over 3 times a week, we do the wild thang, and she gets worn down. ;)

Wow here I thought all the guys would be drooling over her... Anyways I\'m not really following it but I was listening to the radio the other day while getting ready for school, and they were discussing what was going on with her so I heard about it at least. *Murders her grammar* :(

Mariah really can sing, no doubt about it (except I hate one thing about her singing style, but unfortunately I can\'t explain it in english.)
It\'s funny (and sad) how before, her videos were all nice and fun for the whole family, but nowadays, she wears skimpy nonexistent costumes and the emphasis on her videos is about showing off her body. And what about those songs. I mean, has anyone listened to Loverboy? My god, that\'s just about the stupidest song I\'ve ever heard! Especially the ending where it has turned into a complete chaos! At least it\'s amusing :)
Well, I guess there\'s only one image for female singers today, all\'s about sex sex sex. Nothing else will sell huh?
I\'m sorry if I hurt some Mariah-fan\'s feelings :(

i dont really care...it seems to me she has done it too get some attention. hope that doesnt sound too horrible, but its true. she was all getting annoyed cos she wasnt get as much money as janet jackson. she doesnt do any good songs there all so crap...and i can remember when she would wear the same clothes all the time ( i only noticed as it said so in a paper some time)

I don\'t understand what Mariah is doing that is any different to the likes of Jennifer Lopez or Britney Spears, or even Madonna for that matter, they all do it, its just Mariah never used to.

But I could careless about her problems..I got my own she has so much money she can do whatever she wants I hate stars that always say i was so dipressed and him I am struggling working all the time and they got 100 of millions of dollars...

I\'ve heard it all now. Mature pop,eh? I call it brainless commecialized music, but that is just my opinion. It is like Britney Spears trying to sell sexuality, when she is suppose to be a virgin. She is just selling a commercialized product that is void of any true meaning.
Madonna and Mariah are in two different catergories here. Madonna pushed a female sexuality revolution and media boundries. Madonna was the one to come out and say , "hey girls, its okay to be sexual and in charge". Madonna was not afraid of negative press, infact she welcomed it. Mariah has never done that. I am not saying she is bad or what not. She just has not pushed boundries like Madonna , so you can\'t compare the two. Mariah has always did what was popular at the moment. Nothing more. The woman can sing, she\'s a great singer, but still, she has done nothing very noticable. If you want to compare her to someone, you would need to compare her to Britney Spears, J-Lo or even Christina Augliera.
There is nothing wrong with Mariah selling sexulity, hey thats fine. At least she is probably expirenced in it (ha) unlike Britney Spears. Still, I can\'t say her current crop of songs are up to par with actual emotional music. Mature pop? Nah, more like bubble-gum pop.
Just my opinion though.

YEs, I can see you point, and it is a very valid point, but I still beleive that Mariahs music is somewhat \'real\'. I mean, she writes ALL her own music and lyrics, unlike Britney and Christina...
Madonna is an amazing person; creative and influential, but I also think Mariah has had her fair share.

Anyway, Mariah and Christina are great singers. They actually have talent.. But as for Britney, she can\'t sing for sh*t! :D
