Games like this are typically shorter

I\'m going to say 15 - 17 hours, and I won\'t miss it

I have no clue and that is one thing I\'m curious about. I hope and pray that the game is longer then Onimusha. I hate the fact I went through that game so damn fast. I hope Devil May Cry is around 10 - 15 hours. That is a good amount of time for an action game like this.

BY the way - this game will rock.;)

probably longer than recv cuz its mission based meaning u have less freedom but more length.  hopefully theres alternative endings n paths.

Btw I usually finish games fast nowadays.  dc1,2,re3 didnt even take 2 hrs.  n recv 8 hrs  onimusha 3 1/2. I donno how some ppl could say they took 10 hrs to finish onimusha unless they just stood around doin nothing.

yeah what the D man said !

it\'s a Action game so it won\'t be as long as a RPG but will have a great replay value to it thanks to the fluid game play and "coolness" of the games creation (see SONY press confrence at E3 2001 if you don\'t get that one)

P.S there are rumours that the SECOND DMC game is either being considered for production or in earily stages.

sounds good anyway.

I read my new Next-Gen and it said that you can beat the game in 10 hours the first time....... Then the second only 2-3 hours..... Because the fastest person on that team can beat it in little over 2 hours! That\'s less than MGS!:sconf::(

if they say it takes 10 hrs it\'ll usually take 6-8.  wonder what takes so long if its only 2 the 2nd time.  hopefully theirs no backtracking or super annoying puzzles.

I read that preview in Next-Gen and it said the game is too action packed and he doesn\'t want puzzles to slow the action down..... So the only big puzzles will prolly be "find the key" types.
