Title: Who wishes PS2 was getting Halo?
Post by: Ethan_Hunt on August 14, 2001, 03:44:26 AM: I think that game looks kick ass,and is the reason i am getting an Xbox, i just downloaded some movies,and it look really cool.

When I read about it last year in CVG magazine. It was like a really good Tribes competitor. I hope they put as much effort into a story as the say they are. I was really looking forward to mowing over some aliens with my truck while my buddy rode the turret and got them while they were down.

Dont get me wrong i love my PS2, but if there is a good game on the Xbox, then i will say it looks like a great game.:D

gamecube best launch ever? to each his own i suppose, but, even with PS2\'s obviously rushed launch games, i really think its going to retain (like its some sort of championship)...mebbe XBox will be better

...maybe i havent done enough research into this, but for me, its pretty much just RS:2 holding the GC up high

*goes and checks out the thread about which launch will be better*

ill be back and see if ive changed my mind

I doubt it. I think that award went to Sega with the DC launch. Sonic Adventure, Soul Calibur , HOuse of the Dead and others. Ah, that was such a good launch. I bough five games at DC launch and enjoyed four of \'em. I bought seven at PS2 launch and didn\'t really care for any of \'em.
I don\'t see anything on the Xbox line up that I really care for either, still I\'ll buy it.
