Title: DC price drop?
Post by: know-it-all-wanna-be on August 15, 2001, 07:17:28 PM: It seems like Dreamcast had lower the price from $99 to $79. Okay, this system is just about nearly two years old and during it life span, the system is getting cheaper. Even cheaper than psOne, N64.

It amazed me how DC have built in 56k modem cost so cheap while psx and n64 cost more expensive. I think it have to do with psx and n64 popularity and dc is pretty much dead. Sad day for SEGA. I just wanted to point out that DC is like the cheapest console in the next generation era. Making me wonder when will ps2 will lower it price even though I had one already.

I just got an e-mail from eb that the DC was going to be $79. I just might get one again. :D

Which will even more cheap...:D I just may get myself one...

You know when a console cost as little as the games do...you\'re getting a bargain...:)

Post by: Kenny-73 on August 16, 2001, 06:39:47 PM: I really wanted to play Shenmue and Sonic, so I might consider getting a DC. I heard that there is going to be another price drop a little later on in the year, or maybe early next year. So, I\'ll probably wait. :cool:

Post by: 182Ways on August 16, 2001, 06:56:35 PM: My current financial status really doesn\'t allow me to start supporting another console. Maybe once I get off my lazy ass and get a new job, I can get a Dreamcast. :p

So for now, it\'s all PS2 for me. There are so many promising games coming out for the system in the next couple months that I just won\'t have the money for a DC.
