CHICAGO (AP) - The 42-year-old son of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was shot and wounded early Thursday in an attack in a friend\'s home, police said.
Joshua Farrakhan was shot in both legs and was in fair condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, hospital spokesman Mike Maggio said.

Farrakhan was visiting a friend when unknown assailants came into the South Side house, beat him and shot him, said Thomas Donegan, a Chicago police spokesman.

Police are still investigating the shooting, which happened shortly after 1 a.m.

Well, he was beaten and shot in each leg (OUCH!!). It just seems to me the guy was in heavy with some "unseemly" types, and they came to "send him a message". Again I say-- OUCH!!
