Interesting. It looks like all will have DVD cases this generation, although the GC ones look to be different,, some bigger or better screens would help though.

Those look REALLY crappy. Maybe some larger pics will look better. Probably not, though...:rolleyes:

I have to agree this looks very...very crappy and that controller looks to stiff. Umm I hope they have a arcade stix.

yeah they look ok..

just as long as they are not made from cardboard then thats ok.

it might of been enviromentally sound but they old N64 boxes had the life span of a 3DO Game.......:laughing:

Slipcases? Ugh! I wish someone would just do jewel cd cases or the nice big thick ones like the Saturn had.

i dont like any of it...
specially the cover of luigis mansion...its boring IMO...
but you know things always change in amerika...so ill have to wait and check those out....

The japanese games are using slipcases. They already announced that US and UK games are gonna be in DVD cases.

That boxart looks pretty bland, it makes me wonder if that\'s just some kind of prototype boxart. There doesn\'t seem to be much there. Then again, sometimes less is more when it comes to boxart.

They are a bit plain, but they dont look bad. But who really cares? Sure its nice to have cool box art but it doesnt improve the game. It\'s wants inside that counts

I agree with The Answer #3 that the box art has nothing to do with the game itself but, if I knew nothing about the game the box art will mean alot for me to know if the game was cool or not, just a picture of luigi and the title won\'t sell the game much, IMO :D

ok, Either I\'m an idiot or youse guys are being anal. Now aren\'t 99.999% of boxcovers just a picture of the main character(s) and the name of the game?

I just wonder why a GameCube Disk, about 1/4 the size of a CD, needs a case that large.  I mean, come on, if the books can be condensed into CD jewel cases, and the memory cards are also super tiny, then what\'s all the wasted space for?  Please, if it\'s not a case that is done creatively like those for DVD movies such as Fight Club, Se7en, T2 and a few others, then just put it in a jewel case and stop wasting all my damn shelf space.

I\'m pretty sure they\'ll be smaller than the average DVD box.
