I wonder was it because of overflowing of people downloading the same thing or was it gamespot fault. I rarely experience this slow at ign. ign, my usual speed is 3 - 4 kbytes/sec.

It\'s server probs.... Or is it? Cause ever download you do there it always cuts the download speed in half:(.... I hate it.... But it\'s better than nothing at all.:eyemouth:

good thing it is too..... Then the game will have replay value... I hate playing 10+ hour games.... Then be like well that was a little stupid... Then if I do want to play it again I\'ll be like.... Man all the things I have to do! And then you never play it again.... See this game will be action packed for 3 hours.... Never gets boring really.... So it\'s really good that it is short, then you\'ll wanna play it again.......

BTW - ViVi? Don\'t you like that game?

Yes, it is QuickTime...but Windows Media Player can read it too. Of course...WM Player is way unreliable...

I\'ve tried that many times and it never worked..... I guess WM Player isn\'t the greatest for .qt movies...:(

No, no, no, no, no it\'s Pull-Ups or chin ups. Okay dangle from a ledge. Hold R1 then while still holding R1 press L2 and R2 repeatidly until your grip bar is almost gone. Pull yourself up so you don\'t fall. Then dangle from the ledge again and repeat over and over until Otacon calls. The process takes awhile. By the way DON\'T DO IT SUPER FAST OR YOU\'LL ONLY BE MOVING SIDE TO SIDE.

WM Player isn\'t really good for anything...:rolleyes: It is such a cra*** program. I only use it for WM Player-only files...it can\'t even stream that well...

Post by: JP on August 19, 2001, 05:31:43 PM: Uhm, that video that was posted from IGN is the first trailer, the one from LAST year\'s E3. And as you can see by the filename it\'s not in quicktime format (.mov), it\'s in MPEG format...

Post by: Evi on August 19, 2001, 05:44:07 PM: This trailer is a long one. It shows a lot of gameplay and movies scenes from, and not from, the demo. The newest one (not posted in this thread) only shows the beginning sequence to the MGS2 demo.

Also...JP is right. It\'s an MPEG, the same format that both QuickTime and WM Player can play...so I don\'t know where that started.

IT is a large movie...and that can be hard on a lot of slow computers...sorry...:-/

But for some reason I check .qt on WM Player and it still won\'t play any movies from IGN that are in quicktime format..... Something is not right..... Maybe my WM Player needs to be updated....:confused:

You need the quicktime movie player, which can be found on http://www.apple.com.
Quicktime is actually a Macintosh format so I guess that\'s why WMP can\'t play it.

I know.... My crappy computer doesn\'t play quicktime movies well......That\'s why I wanted to use WM Player....

Hey thanks man, now much to my suprise, the speed goes up from 4.4 kbytes per sec to 8 kbytes per sec. Really really fast.

I remember watching last\'s year trailer of mgs2 on psx demo\'s disc from opm and it rocks. I was drooling over the graphic and physics. Unfortunately, I let my nephew borrow the demo disc and he lost it. My friends want to borrow it but he can\'t. Now, i think is still not to late to let him see both last year and this year\'s trailer. I been looking for it on the net but couldn\'t find the direct feed of last year.Anyway, thanks Evisceration X that I could download it.
