According to C&VG this is a new one, even I remember a shot the seems like this... anyway the pic rocks...

Well.. Ive only seen one small video demonstrating "talking-heads"..
I saw a video here (http://www.uk.scee.com) btw..
In the background you can see the buildings from Getaway.. It looks like they are driving very fast.. (the name of the file is "software.mpg" you can download a mini version.. and the whole one.. thats 51MB..)

Your awfly doubtful. I think it truly does look that good and they are spending a hell of a lot of time developing it. Maybe they dont wanna release to much game info because they want us completely wowed when its done.

I hope it does look like that but I have some doubts cause it looks so much better than everything else out there.
And it would be nice to play a demo cause for all we know it could be the best looking game ever and have NO gameplay at all. The Bouncer anyone?

Well have you noticed how everything that takes forever to develop look much better than everything else. Metal gear solid or FFX anyone? Stop being so doubtful, it looks all good to me.

the top pic is a concept render
the bottom 3 are realtime screens but are obvioulsy early do to lack of everything else besides cars and buildings

ddaryl\'s right about the 3 bottom pics, they\'re many months old.
But I\'m quite sure I remember the top one being real time too...

The lack of media distributed on this game makes me think they are trying to hide its real persona, or in other words, what you see is not what you will get... :( Look at MGS2, it is freaking cool, but they don\'t hide the game or nothing... unless Getaway will be coming out in 2003, and is early in development then i can understand the lack of movies/pictures. ;)

I think they\'re nervous about showing it too early coz it has the biggest production team ever I think.
And if it looked and/or played bad it would be really embarrasing for them.
They probably don\'t want to show it before they think it\'s good and ready.
Just look at Max Payne, they released like 20 screens and 2 trailers in the 3-4 years it took to make... Not much if you ask me.
And it turned out to be one of the coolest games I\'ve ever played.
