Title: *** For those posting screenshots please read
Post by: ddaryl on August 21, 2001, 01:07:17 PM
PLEASE LIMIT SCREENSHOT POSTS IN A THREAD TO 6 !!!!  Posting more then this is a pain in the ass for  those who only have 56k, and limit supersized pics to 2  or 3

ALso do not reply with a quote and include an image. This is wasteful to repeat an image already displayed

I personally love to see screenshot threads, but we cannot overload these threads to the point we\'re it takes a minute to load with a T1 connection

Thanks

ddaryl

whoops, didn\'t see this when I posted my thread with about 20 pics. :)

ehh, they are all small and I am on 56k, shouldn\'t be a problem for anyone. Will remember for future notice though.

a good alternative is to put 56k warning or something in the title.

don\'t worry about the recent thread

but I\'d rather not have 56K warnings cause that still doesn\'t allow 56K people to easily access the thread and particiapte in the discussion

nobody wants to wait 15 minutes before they can post a reply or comment

I can get DSL in my area, the problem is everytime I get close to my start up date I get a call from my local phone company that states after further line testing we have determined your line in no capable of DSL.

its aggravating beyond belief and getting a straight answer to why is impossoble

There are a number of reasons why DSL could be unavailable. The quality of the line, the distance from your house to the central etc. So a number of things can go wrong in the process, even if it looks like you could get it in the beginning.

quality of line is what they tell me, but when I ask them when they\'re going to upgrade/fix this they start ragging on me about there commitment to voice quality not data transfer

which really pisses me off when I myself realize we are in the 21st century and data transfer is every bit as important as Voice quality these days

someone will die

or maybe not :clown:
