I saw this topic on another forum and thought it would be nice to hear what you guys thought.For me I have a few,the cutscene in the first resident evil where the zombie turns to look at you,I\'m trying to run before the cutscene is even over .Or in the downstairs hallway when the dogs jump thru the window(still the only time i\'ve ever jumped while playing a video game)But probably my favorite was that christmas morning when me and my brothers opened up that package that had an Atari in it.Long time ago but still great memories

buddy.....ill never forget that scene in RES EVIL when those damned dogs jumped through the window....
i jumped and yelled like never before in a videogame....
glad to hear that i wasnt the only one....funny..that scene when the zombie looks at you, right before it cuts, im already running away too....hilarious... =)

That day when I finaly got to the end of Pitfall.
That ending was awesome!!!!;)

Zelda:Ocarina Of Time- The whole game was just an unsurpassed experience for me. When Shiek reveiled that he was Zelda then Ganondorf took her away, when Ganon entered the Sacred Realm, escaping from Ganon\'s castle, finally getting to the boss in the Water Temple, and many many more. Lots of favs from that game.
But my all time favorite videogame moment would have to be when I got the invincibility cheat in Goldeneye. Anyone who\'s played that game knows what I\'m talking about.
Honorable mentions- In Super Mario World when you first entered that "Special place". In Chrono Trigger when Frog sees his friends ghosts(dammit what was his name again? The guy that Magus killed), playing Mario 64 for the first time, and many more that I\'m too lay to name.

- Watching the Final Fantasy VIII intro movie for the first time.
- Performing my first "stealth kill" in Tenchu.
- In Medal of Honor, when I threw a grenade into a group of enemies, and one of them threw his body over the grenade to protect the others. I still laugh when I think about that one...
- The introduction to the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo.
- The day I paid off my pre-order for Metal Gear Solid 2. ;)
- (*SPOILER*) The part in Suikoden when Gremio was revived.
- In Suikoden II, when you fight along side Jowy against Gorudo.

oh yeah...well how bout the first time we played Star Fox??
first real 3d game for a console...wasnt that an incredible feeling..despite the framerate, blockiness, and texture free polygons...(not like we were old enough to acknowledge those things back then anyway....)
that was a great feeling...gave us a taste for things to come....
just listening to the soundtrack of that game brings back good feelings....

The ending of Final Fantasy VIII.

When i first opened MGS for christmas.
When i beat FF8. I loved the ending video.
When i first watched the MGS2 intro.
when i beat vagrant story. That was an awsome game. any body else pla it?

From last year the long MGS2 movie, that got my jaw to drop, i was like "wow, this is what the PS2 can do? Awsome!"
Playing MK and doing fatalities ;) There a million and one of them, but i\'m not gonna put em all here .

This scence from MG:S:
Liquid Snake apart the satellite just as your about to cross and then scaling down the walls as Liquid Snake shoots at you from the helicopter. Oh so nicely crafted
This scence from Halflife:
Dropping into that pit where the 3-tentacled monster who can only hear rips a poor scientist apart. That was one of the few times a game made me say "Hoooooooly Sh*t" out loud.

I have to say that mine comes from RE1 as well, but it\'s not any of those others. It is when you leave the place where you fought that giant plant and then head back to the mansion. Once your inside the mansion it cuts to a cg cinema of a monsters perspective running towards the mansion. Through the video it is quite obvious how fast and agile this new creature is. So, the video ends just as this creature opens the door behind you that you just entered. The creature is the mutated green frog creature, but i tell you a totally freaked out when that happened and I must say that it\'s my most memorable gaming experience.
Although 2nd place would definitely have to go to the whole game of Xenogears. Boy was that game a masterpiece!! I should say a flawed masterpiece, thanks to the budget cuts. But truly the greatest story ever to make its way into the videogame world. It was fun too :)

even though just about every good gamer should have played it, just incase some people havent, i put the poiler warning up
Aeris\' death scene...and the final battle, one on one wih sephiroth (sure, you are destined to win, but it was just such a personal rivalry)

There are alot of great videogame moments heres a few of mine:
In RE2 when your running down the hallway and then all of a sudden there\'s zombie arms crashing through the window and grabbing you. That was great.
FF7 had a heep of great moments in it that I\'ll always remember, The FF8 ending was just perfect.
First stealth kill in Tenchu.
First time I came up against the Butcher in Diablo :) Open the door to his lair, feeling overconfident, then running away when hes kicking your ass :)
Thats some of mine and there are a lot more. These are the moments when you relise why you like games so much.

This is definetly not THE coolest part I have seen in a game, but the battle in Ape Escape where you\'re looking through the enemy robot was pretty cool. Also, in Legend of Legaia when the Seru were pulling the train really blew me away.

2. Skies of Arcadia (the enitire game was awesome) Finding out Rhaknam was a giga, The Dark Rift (so freaky), watching Valua get destroyed...
3. All of Zelda:Ocarina of Time

Starfox was NOT the first polygon console game.
My moment was when I guessed a code for Ghostbusters on SMS, I had like 11 million dollars off of that code!

for some reason i cannot beat that game at all, man i cheat, and such, but i guess i need knightsa of the round...

Resident Evil.......TWWWOOOOO: The Arms through the windows. I used the way for about 4 times, and then (after taking the jewel), I expect nothing and....
ISS DELUXE (SNES) I didn\'t like the first ISS, but when I played DELUXE for the very first time, it was the coolest moment in the history, so many tactics, such an awesome gameplay, such great graphics and the referee dog cheat.
PS: Still the best soccer game

The "mutated green frog creature" is called a Hunter. The Hunters in RE1 were the Hunter Alphas, the ones in RE3 are Hunter Betas and Hunter Gammas.
My fav? Ah, thats a hard one. But like many people Resident Evil 1 comes to mind. The zombie turn and glare scene (that one gave my little bro nightmares for months :laughing: ), the Hunter scene, the lab with the naked zombies (darn those were tough), fighting the giant plant, and then finally killing the Tyrant for the last time.
Ahhhhh the memories. Reminds me, I should go out and buy RE1 again (gave it away when I moved :().

My favourite videgame moment is the part in Metal Gear Solid on PSX where you defeat Pyscho Mantis and as he is dying he talks about life.
That was a moving speech.
Also for some others such as Sniper Wolf,when you defeated them it was really good afterwards the way it was done.

I just had one a couple days ago with the DMC demo,
i mean i came out of that castle, and when i was crossing the
bridge Dante falls to the sea, and you end up fighting floating skulls... awsome. :D :D :D

in RE ( i forgot which one, it mustve been 1 or 2 ), when u are opening the door, and 2 zombies are like just there! You didnt even open it yet ... but they were comin.
And my fav moment was the Dogs of RE1.

1: What? Samus is a girl? How can this be? Great moment..
2: Dogs in RE1. They actually made me jump, damn them..
3: Playing Mario64 for the first time. It was just amazing.
4: My very first fireball with Ken in Super Street Fighter 2.
5: Watching a friend play Sonic the day it came out and being amazed how fast the lil guy ran ..He even did loops! :surprised
6: Soul Calbiur. DC. \'Nuff said.
7: See\'ing the ending to a game that haunted me for years. Mystic Defender (Genesis). Damn, that game needs a sequel.
8: Finding out Laura\'s dad was Dracula in "D".
9: Beating Ninja Gaiden in my youth..Ah, those was glorious days.
10: See\'ing CastleVania:SOTN on the Psone. A 2D game on the Psone. It was unhead of!
11: The day Street Fighter Alpha came home and arcade perfect none the less!
12: Virtua Fighter 2 coming home. Arcade perfect!
13 : Sonic CD. Ah. Was amazing!
14: Buying a 3DO with 90 games and going, "wow all these suck, \'cept "Space Hulk" and "Trip D"." .
15: My first go at a certain first person shooter known simply as - Doom.
By the way - those are in no certain order.

A lot on MGS. When I beat Psycomantis when he was talking to Snake. When I beat the hell out of the wolves to piss Meryl off. When I first beat Sniper Wolf time 2 with only a sniper rifle (damn, I wish I remember where I positioned myself). When I shot the ravens and Naomi was mad as hell at me. Oh, can\'t remember the time I went into the womens bathroom and all the girls wouldn\'t talk to me. When I threw the genome soldiers in the molten metal. When I first beat the Ninja (Grey Fox) on intermediate. When I beat Metal Gear Rex (on intermediate). The helicopter. (I just write down stuff as I think of it). When I beat the game, the end movie when I find out Snake\'s name and goes away with Otacon. Then the end movie with Naomi talking about Genes. The last thing is when I beat the game in 6 and a half hours.
I could have just said the entire MGS game.
