Title: Anybody pick up Extreme G3?

I\'m thinking about picking it up.  It\'s EG3 or Shaddow Man 2.  I loved the first one on Dreamcast.

after seeing the latest info and screens from wipeout I\'m no longer very interested in G3

I will probably rent it though

Kinetica looks interesting as well, but Wipeout will reign King IMO

When is Wipeout being released?  You know I bought Wipeout 3 ages ago and never got to play it much.  You got me interested, I\'m gonna pop it in my PS2 right now!

I asume wipeout is 6 months away but no official date has been given

Extreme G fan right here.:thepimp: The first two ruled, (better than Wipeout IMO) and I have no reason to expect any different from the third one.

I picked it up.

And then I dropped it right off @ EB again. I was looking forward to a WipeOut clone to tide me over, but it didn\'t do the job.

The interface and designs were nice, but the game itself was rather boring. Too many straightaways on the tracks with nothing for you to do. And I won\'t even bother getting into the graphics.

My wife is getting me this game right now as I type this post!  I\'m a EXtremeG fan too, and I loved the first and second for N64, and the third can only be faster and better.  With Wipeout along ways off, this will tide me over.  Wow 6 months away maybe more!

Another long time XG fan here.  There are some things a I wish could be improved but I\'m still glad I bought it.

IGN gave it a nice fat 8.4 in their review. You guys should all take a look just incase if you haven\'t already.

Dead right mate. New Zealand is getting it in November too:D
So probably about a month or 2 after that for the US

g3 got a 8 in psw, its meant to be good, but only got like 12 tracks :( im not sure if im gonna get it.maybe rent it first

After playing the game for 4 hours, all I can say is I love the game!  Gamespot gave the game an (8.6).  It\'s getting preety good reviews from several websites.  You guys should check it out.  The graphics and speed are incredible.
