Title: What improvements would you like to see in T4\'s graphics

Many people are a little disapointed with T4\'s graphics.What kind of graphical improvements in your opinion does it need?

I honestly cannot see why people are complaining about Tekken 4\'s graphics. The texture work is pretty good for PS2, and the characters are very detailed and are animated very well. The stages are also nice lookin\'...

I guess those screenshots/movies of DOA3 kind of spoiled \'em. :laughing:

If there were any improvements to be made... Well, really considering the hardware this game is running on, it looks fine. The improvements that I\'d want(Higher polygon counts for the characters/arenas, better textures(They\'re good, but they still look bland like most other PS2 games)) would be pretty hard to do.

But if VF4 indeed looks better on PS2 according to what Ironfist read in an interview then improvements like higher poly count and better textures can be done.
And again T4 is only the second Tekken game for the PS2.The game is still far from the hardware\'s limits.

I would like them to trash the current Tekken 4 and go back and redo the graphics engine totally, because as it stands it already looks out-dated.

I\'m with Clip on this one. The whole engine seems dated to me and when I play the game, I keep thinking "DoA2!"

The graphics seem to match up with DOA2: HC on PS2.

Remember, Virtua FIghter 4 already looks better in the arcade than T4 does, so if they are improving the graphics in any way, as it seems they have said, then Namco will have quite a fun job ahead of them to port Tekken 4 and make it looks purty :)
