Well, I don\'t ever recall seeing a post on religion before, so I thought I might start one!
I am a Christian, though I don\'t classify that as a religion, more so a way of life.
What are other people here?
-
In theory I\'m Christian - but in reality I\'m an atheist.
-
I\'m Catholic.

Only reason for religion is to have something to push your problems on.
Oh, and no religion threads?

Well i guess it is not a big difference, except maybe
in some doctrine...?
It is just a bunch of Christian sects that have their own views of who is right and who is off … IMO.
Same stuff different coating….

You can be a protestant and a catholic. I\'m the former (well, my parents are and so they made me be it as well. When you\'re a kid you can\'t really decide these things for yourself).

I was protestant but a few years ago I left my church to safe the taxes.

Hehe yeah, I want to do that too, I just never got around to doing it.

Im nothing :)
-
My country\'s protestant.

I still belong to the church (with the rest of my family), but really I\'m something between an atheist and an agnostic person. I\'ve thought of leaving the church many times, even moreso now that I\'m in the army; they make us stand in line for hours while we listen have to listen to some religious poop (excuse my choice of words here). Also the field priest\'s lessons bore me to death and make me hate religion even more.
Don\'t get me wrong, I approve all religions (well, almost), and think it\'s good that people have something to believe in. Just isn\'t for me, I believe in what I want to believe, not in what some few people tell me to believe in. I also like studying religions and different mythologies. It\'s interesting what sort of stories people come up with in this silly world.
-
I choose no religion.
I belive in myself, I refuse to belive in some supreme being that will spank us if we don\'t follow his rules.
Religion is the biggest joke mankind has ever seen.
Just my 2 cents

So true nO-One... I agree a 100%.
Thank god I\'m not religious...
If you ask me, religion is the root of all that\'s evil.
That\'s just my humble opinion, don\'t mean to step on anybody\'s toes.
Laters all...

I was born a Jehovah\'s Witness and now I\'m nothing. I left the religion when I was around fourteen or so, despite my mother remaining one for quite awhile.
Religion..Ugh!

Games your obviously Christian because Catholicism is Christianity. But if your stuck between Catholicism and being Protestant choose which ever you like better. Personaly I like Protestants because most Catholic churches hardly ever talk about Christ and what it is to be saved. But make a choice your parents should respect it.
Me I\'m Christian and I love my church. I have had some bad experiences in the past with churches that now make me think if the people there really were Christian.

From all those teachings... i think the best one you can follow is this: Do onto others as you would like done to you.
although this might have its limits too. ;)
I don\'t know what to believe anymore... so i don\'t bother going to church, reading the bible etc... i think i\'m a decent person...
I mean just because you might not believe in anything doesn\'t make you some beast that must be converted to some type of religion.
I think one book, that i read and it helped understand religion was Hyperion by Dan Simmons, actually i read all books in the serie. I think a lot of ground the author covers about the church is true... IMO. I was like 16 when i read the first book.
We exists in a world where fear is real,
So we cling to the past to deny and confuse the future,

I cannot really follow any religion. I can\'t be plainly atheist, I can\'t be purely Christian; I don\'t see complete evidence of these things, and with my mindset, I can\'t follow them as a result.
People who support Christian ideals have told me that I should not look at it in terms of "I won\'t believe it until I see it," but rather "I\'ll see it when I believe it." They simply do not understand; I can\'t do that. Without complete proof of something like this, I feel just as awkward in those circumstances as I would be trying to believe that my pet bird is the offspring of a 6000 ton water dwelling creature. I can\'t believe in something without proof of it, it is that simple. And because no one has been able to find me legitimate proof, I am generally led to believe that many of these people only believe what they do due to years of being taught those things and surrounded by them. Until they can provide evidence I may be forced to stick to this conclusion, or else form another one. I try to remain open on this, however.
When one tries to argue that, just because a religion cannot be proven, if it can\'t be disproven, it should be followed anyway. This makes no sense; just because it hasn\'t been disproven that a 90 eyed spider lives on the moon, does that mean we should blindly believe it? It\'s a completely illogical idea in my eyes.
And often times, I am told that it\'s best to be Christian just in case the Christian teachings are true. but by that logic, shouldn\'t we all follow every religion in the world? Which is, of course, impossible.
I envy those who do have a solid belief, but I question them when they can\'t give me the proof I need to hold that same belief, basically. I\'m agnostic, and will decide on a religion as soon as I see one proven to me.
Chances are, I will take bits and pieces of other religions that make sense to me, and follow them. I may even do this in the near future.. I dislike being confused about these things.
We\'ll all find out when we die, won\'t we?
-
I\'m Chatholic, but I\'m not a big believer. I believe there is a god but I find church to be pointless so I dont go

i would like ti think that there is a god and some supremem being that created this crappy world, but for some reason i dont.

That\'s fine, but as I put it in my previous response, I can\'t believe in something without having evidence. It\'s called following something blindly, something that I can\'t bring myself to do with religion.
If I tell myself to believe in something, then I believe in that thing, regardless of a lack of evidence, how will I know that this Jesus who shows himself to me really exists? If I\'m just blindly believing that he does exist?
-
My beliefs are like this.
My base religion is Atheism but sprinkle in a little religious Satanism (the thought that at any one time everybody has the power to change the world for better or worse, and the thought that the only true sin is ignorance) and when I say Satanism I don\'t mean the bull**** devilworshiper poser, I mean the actual religion. Add a little Wicca (if you harm anybody it comes back to you 3 fold). And finnally incorperate a bit of the happy fat man\'s (Budha) teachings and that is my beliefe system.
As you can see I just leach ideas from other religions and incorperate them into my lifestyle. I get the fierce individualism from Satanism but they also ecourage people to follow and act on instincts alone and the only weapon I ever use are words. I don\'t really think I must explain Wicca and Budhism seeing as they are much more widespread.
To all you assholes that did not care to read my post I am for the most part an Atheist. (as if you cannot tell by my sig)
-
im roman catholic. and i believe in most of the stuff.

Geez guys, there is more than just Catholic and Protestant sects in the Christian overview.

He he he. Wink wink. ;)
I have always wondered this, is that statistic percentage wise or actual numbers wise? Because I find it hard to believe that there are more people entering into the LDS church, which only has about 11 million members (I think), than are entering the Muslem(sp?) church which has over 1 billion members.
BTW, I am 100% LDS. :)

Ok, for everyone here who is confused about Christianity/Catholicism/Protestantism, heres how it is.
Christianity is the main religion, Catholicism and Protestantism are sects or groups within Christianity.
You can\'t be just "Christian", if your Christian you\'re either Catholic, Protestant, or one of the other groups.
So you can\'t say your mom is Catholic and your dad is Christian, because they\'re the same thing. Your dad isn\'t just Christian, he\'s one of the religions within Christianity. Now if your mom was Catholic and your dad was Protestant, then it would make sense.
People are always argueing with me about this. I repeat, there is no single religion called just Christianity.

Well, solid I do see it differently while the Christian religion is split into sub groups they are still part of the Christian religion. I am a Christian because I believe in Christ. All true Christians weather Catholic Protestant or whatever believe in the same thing basically. There is a difference in the way it is taught but it still is Christianity. If someone asks if I\'m Christian I\'m most certainly not going to say were did you get that idea I\'m Baptist stupid, it\'s the same thing basically. I believe what\'s in the Bible because it\'s God\'s word and for that I will continue to call myself Christian even though I do go to a Baptist church.
Hmm, well, I basically classify myself as a Christian. I beleive that Jesus died for our sins, and that if we love him, he\'ll love us back.
Yes Racer it is very simple, infact i would say it is harder to live a non Christian life.
-
i would say it is harder to live a non Christian life.
Probably. In not being Christian, I:
1. Have no higher being that loves me that I can look up to at any point, whenever I am feeling down or alone
2. I have no assurance as to where I will go when I die
There\'s probably more, but those two things are the biggest ones for myself.
But, I can\'t get myself to blindly follow the religion. I need complete evidence of it being factual before I can follow it. In the meanst, I\'ll stick to my agnostic stance.

Thats not what I mean. What I mean is that when someone comes up to you and says they\'re Christian and you ask them if they\'re Catholic, Protestant, whatever and they say "None of them. I\'m Christian."
That doesn\'t make sense.
Maybe I worded it badly. What I mean is you can\'t be just "Christian". You\'re Christian, yes, but you belong to one of the branches of Christianity.
Yeah, all the Christian religions are taught and believe in many of the same things.
And there are some differences too, like Protestants not believing in Saints or Mary. But mostly they\'re all the same.
-
I see many people here who are Atheist or technically Christian but don\'t believe it. What I believe is that no matter what religion you are, whether you\'re Atheist, Jewish, Budist, Christian, Muslim, or some pagan religion, if you are generally kind to other people and are a decent person, then good things are in store for you.
And yes I\'m Catholic. Catholic dad, Protestant mom.
-
Religion is just made for people who need to fill a void in their lives, they need someone to blame for all the evil so they made the devil, and they need to belive that there is something or someone up there that will help them when they are in need and will always love them.
Religion was created through ignorance, when they didn\'t understand something, they tried to explain it by saying they saw an angel or a demon.
As I said before, I belive in myself, I don\'t have to blame the devil when I fall down, or thank god when I pass a test, it\'s all up to me.And the thing that pisses me off the most is when people say you need to be good to get into heaven crap, there is no big guy up there that\'ll spank me if I don\'t behave, it\'s up to me to decide when I\'ll be good or bad.
-
No no-one religion isn\'t ignorance what you just said is.

I completely agree with n0-0ne. I think religion is created by people who think like you just did. They\'re scared there\'s nothing when we die. Well, too bad for them I guess.

The absolute nothingness that comes from the rational realization that there is nothing but death at the end of your existence. Any rumors/innuendoes contrary to this believe have been grossly exaggerated by human fear of the unknown. ;)
-
Then how the hell do you think that the world got here? Has it always been here?
Anyone who believes that something like the big bang exploded really doesnt have many brain cells.
I mean, has anyone ever seen anything \'explode\' to create something else?
THere have been stars that explode, but they certainly dont create other worlds.
I nearlly exploded my VRX engine and all I got was a large bill :)
-
When science can explain everything, I\'ll stop believing in God. Therefore, I know I\'ll be Christian for life. And just plain Christian, not any of those inane subcategories. Christianity is my belief, not my religion. I don\'t trust any religions, they are organizations of men, like any other organizations.
-

1) No, I don\'t do drugs.
2) Then there\'s nothing. It\'s like when you\'re sleeping - without the dreaming of course. A lot of people can\'t imagine what it\'s like and get scared, so they feel the need to invent stuff (religion) - so they can go through life feeling safe because they\'ll be saved, yadda yadda yadda, instead of just being dead and gone (what\'s so horrible about it anyway? It\'s not like you know you\'re dead, so you can\'t complain about it - another example of how silly mankind really is). Just suck it up and be a man! ;)
And just because science can\'t explain everything doesn\'t mean it can\'t be explained through science someday. Think back 100 years or more - how many things haven\'t we discovered since then? I think science can explain a lot of things in 100 years or more, in regards of life/creation/the universe etc. But humankind being the weak species it is, creates fairytales to make life better because they can\'t explain certain things. "But an almighty being created us and the universe - oh, and when we die everything will be peacy!". Please!
Summa summarum: I don\'t feel the need to make up stories to feel safe just because science at this point can\'t explain everything possible thinkable about life and death.
Disclaimer: The above ranting was just a personal opinion. :)

Sorry, but anyone who belives that god ceated the world in 7 days doesn\'t have many brain cells.
There was a big bang about 16 billion years ago, and the universe started to expand, and it is still expanding,it might do so forever until the distance between the stars becomes so great that light can\'t travel between them, then we would die in total darkness, or it might expand until it get\'s to heavy and collapses in on itself and the proces would start all over again, or it might stapilize itself and stay like that forever.
To actually belive in that biblical bs is pure ignorance (as Sammy said, this is my opinion). There is only one god....and that\'s me :D j/k

I dislike this mentality. Are you saying that, no matter how much evidence against Christianity accumulates, that even if the entire religion is completely and totally disproven in one way or another, that you will always support it regardless? That\'s thick.

I belong to no religion. However, my parents both belonged to different religions growing up. This is what I believe:
2000 years ago there was a man named Jesus Christ. This person was similar to Mother Theresa, and was kind and loving. The people, needing a "role model" looked up to this man. The rest many people know. After being crucified, the people were in such a state of grief that they started making stories about him, including the one where he rose from the dead.
Just my 2 cents.
BTW, I think it\'s surprising that people haven\'t made a huge deal about the Julian Calendar system. After all, it is based on Jesus Christ\'s death!
-
I was born catholic but im kind of confused
I think people are religious because people want to think theres life after death... Maybe people cant stand the thought of rotting in the ground and being totally dead, no soul, no after life, nothing... just pitch black. And I understand that because dieing is going to suck ass.
But something makes me wonder... I was really sick (not to long ago) and I couldnt berethe I walked out of my room and my vision slowly started fadeing to black, I sat down because I was dizzy as hell and my arms started shakeing uncontrolably and I felt my lips going numb. I was gasping for air and my heart was beating out of controal.... I seriously thought I was going to die, and I was pleading to god out loud (heh heh). About 30 seconds later I was fine, no problems.....(and i swear I am not ****ting you)
And to top it all my friend didnt even stop playing Madden 2002 while that **** was happening....

Sounds like a blood circulation problem but it could be something serious.you should go to a doc if it happens again.
A friend of mine had the same problems and broke down one day...It was a little tumor that pressed on a vein in his brain.

I find it a complete insult to all of man kind that people believe we come from apes, I mean, the are ugly, they stink, and have no fashion sense.
There is no way we came from apes.
We are just another race, just like there are different animals.
I mean, how did people get different colour skin, like black, white and yellow, if they all came from apes, which are the same???
THink of it this way. Why is there only browns, blacks and white tones in skin? If we came from apes, and our skin evolved, why isnt there green and purple skin???

Well.. People in africa are black.. Everyone know that..
But do you know why they are black? Because its HOT down there.
And in your skin there is something called pigment.... Its there to protect you from the sunlight..
Well africans have more pigment then people in (example) Germany.. Cuz the sun is warmer in africa than in germany..
People in Sweden are white because its pretty cold here (most of the time.. Summer is pretty short!) and they sun is pretty weak..
We dont need alot of pigment because of that.
Like there was this indian guy in my class.. And one day when it was over 30*C out, we (from sweden) thought it was really hot.. It didnt bother him..
We think that the first HomoSapians came from Africa.. And they were black.. Well then they emigrated to the arabian parts, then upto France.. This took many generations before they got that far.. And they got used to the much colder climate.. Therefor they lost the pigment (cuz they didnt need it!) and soon evolved into whites..
Well something like that :)
Im sure you already knew this..
So why am I writing it? Dont know.. :fro:

You have have a couple of screws loose if you ask me. I mean, I find that such an insult that you people believe that we come from apes, a dumb, ugly, and overtly smelly creature.
-
How can you even take that as an insult? Sure, we see them as unintelligent today, but that\'s why we evolvedfrom them to have a sophisticated mind that can comprehend far more, an upright stance that frees our hands and allows us to develop tools and such, and so on. if you want to take it as an insult, that\'s fine, but I don\'t see why you should; it\'s just evolution. I don\'t see today\'s birds considering the birds of millions of years ago to be idiots and insulted by it; why should we be?
-
I\'ll get to the point.
Religion did not cause wars. People did. They USED religion, particularly Christianity(which is based on turning the other cheek, loving thy enemy, forgiving each other\'s sins and respecting each other) as a vehicle for war.
How? They said "Look! The Islamics are in our Holy Land! Shall we let non-believers of Christ live there? No!"
Actually, they just wanted to plunder the riches there. Similar to the Conquistadors of South America.
Blame the drivers...not the vehicle.
** I did not want to get into thie thread. But I knew athiests would put blame on religion and not man. Man has always twisted the good things and turned them into instruments to serve their own greed or self serving gains. Lets keep things in perspective here.

and man developed religion. You can\'t say wars have nothing to do with religion. That\'s just total BS.
One man believes in some religion..
a different guy believes in a different religion.
They fight because there believes in different Religions. There religions infullance there actions. They fight because they think each other\'s religions are wrong or misguided.
I\'m not saying religion is fully responcable for wars. But it is part of some of them.
If someone told me to kill someone (religion), and i was so deep into it i did (me).. Who\'s to blame.. me or the dood who told me to kill.
Well, Guess what.. we BOTH are.

Well you might find it offensive, but DNA doesn\'t lie (as has been said before). We share 99% of our DNA with chimps. That is undisputable proof that we are all monkeys at heart.
We are incredibly similar to apes, in every aspect. If we were just another race that evolved, completly unrelated to apes we would have found remains by now.

If you ask me, we are insulting apes.
Are you saying we are godly creatures, created by the almighty in his image, implying we have something of God in us? Well if you are, then God is one mean mofo, who needs his head examined.
PEOPLE ARE ANIMALS, we are descendents of apes that have learned to walk on 2 legs, and use their hands. Oh, yeah, and we have bigger brains, so that we can scheme new ways of killing each other.
Religion produces war, and torment, One religious group says they have the only true religion, everyone else is fu@ked up in the head, lol.
Then you have other religions that have people blow themselves up in cars, and such other sh!t for their beliefs...
Religion, what is it good for? :(

It\'s only natural that we have similar DNA. Heck, I think the fly as about 30% similarities with humans. The watermelon is only 1% off from becoming a cloud.
But here\'s the kicker about humans. We\'re the only land mammals that have fat on the out layer of our bodies. Similar to dolphins and seals. Our body hair is streamlined like the dolphins (yes, they have hair, you just can\'t see them).
Now, I\'m not taking sides here. But the Bible did say that all creatures were created from Earth. So it would make sense that humans have common DNA with Chimps(who are 98% - not 99%, similar to our DNA).
Do I believe in evolution? Well....yes and no. In the Bible, God created Adam and Eve. When the two were banned from Eden, the Bible describes them going to a town. Now.....what\'s a town doing there? The translation maybe off from the Dead Sea Scrolls but maybe....just maybe....these Homo Sapiens(Adam and Eve) came upon a village of Neanderthals(very similar to us - just taller and stockier in build). That\'s my theory. God created everything. He just gave humans a little more than others.
Anthropoligist theorize that neanderthals were extinct not by dying off - but by cross breeding with modern humans. Its just our DNA was dominant and theirs was not. They were bred INTO extinction. If all these "ancestors" of ours were that smart, comared to the apes of today, why are they not around? Actually, there within our own genetic makeup now.

I think the Neanderthals died out due to global climactic changes, the appearance of Homo Sapiens, which meant competition for the Neanderthal. Maybe disease contributed to their demise too. ;)
I don’t theorize about where we came from, theories like God created us from dirt, or little green men from outer-space deposited us here, are unproven, and will never have any credibility in the scientific community. This is where the word “Dogma” comes from, our beliefs… ;) btw, I like that movie.
I think what we need is some type of common ground we can all agree upon,
QUESTION: Does our universe need the existence of GOD? How did we come to be?
Our solar system formed about 4.5 billion years ago,
Earth was formed from mostly heavier elements, + carbon, oxygen etc…
Somehow all these different atoms arranged to form molecules of DNA.
The process of evolution was very slow at first, it took about 2.5 billion years to evolve from simple cells to multi-cell animals, and another billion years for fish + reptiles + mammals to evolve. Evolution has sped up enormously, we came from simple mammals to our current form in about 100 million years or so. The major contributor for us humans is the ability to write, reason, and understand our surroundings. Because of this, we have kept our knowledge and improved our lives, so we have a new way of evolving, not just biologically, but by information that is useful for us. Enough about us, lets talk about God.
Everything that begins to exist must have a cause, So,
If the universe began to exist from the big bang, then the universe has a cause.
There may be a being(s) that we can consider to be GOD(s), who have created our universe, but they surely don’t reside in our universe nor is god the universe. ;)
Time is a dimension, with cause and effect, if time begins with our universe,
Then the cause of the universe could have originated by a creator (GOD)
I can’t prove or disprove this, nor would I want to try. I think humans are fabricating religious beliefs around this being (GOD). This being has nothing to do with our day-to-day operations though, it is not a personal GOD.
From the time of the cavemen we looked up into the sky and imagined our gods to be there, looking down on us, …
Maybe it is time to think differently, to see that religion is a conniving institution with greed, and human suffering as its motivators. ;) Conquest and greed play major factors in our last couple of thousands of years of evolving.
Flame on.
-
Big Bang theory.
Let there be Light.
From nothing we got something. Just live and let live. Though religious people tend to live longer and happier lives. :D
-
How could a universe start from nothing? Where did that nothing come from? etc.
Where did God come from?
questions that both sides cannot answer. Give me religion any day, though. Makes me alot happier.
I do notice that alot of my friends who aren\'t religious, more specifically, LDS, lead less happy looking lives. They seem more on edge and less cheerful.
You\'ve got me, but I like being happy.

I believe in science. I like science. It is my favorite subject in school. I believe in the theory of evolution. I believe in God. Just because I believe in God, doesn\'t mean that I can\'t believe in science or evolution. That is why I don\'t believe 100% of the Bible. There is rock hard evidence of evolution so that could cancell out the story of Adam and Eve. Alot of people that I know don\'t believe 100% of the bible. I believe in about 98% of the Bible.
Bossieman, I know your a scientist and I\'m sure you are really good at your profession but you really should give religion a chance.

Why wouldn\'t God let that happen? From the beggining Jews, and now Christians, have been persecuted for their beliefs and that will continue. It says it is to be that way in the Bibble. Just because God has the power to do something doesn\'t mean he will, he gave us free will and if we abuse it than thats the way it is. It was a big test of faith I would say, and yes it was part of His plan.

Translation : "We\'re better coz we\'re North Europeans".
Sounds like a Nazi rhetoric.
What a self flattering remark. Do you know the rest of us personally? Just coz some of us believe in God, you assume we\'re less open minded than you? You need to get off that high horse coz that remark itself stinks of ignorance, arrogance and closed mindedness.

hmm, this raises a nice question, where are we all from?... let me do a separate thread on it. ;)
Nazi = Europe? wow, nice comparison. lol

That thread wouldn\'t be needed if you people included your location in your profile. As for the remark, there are far less Europeans in this forum then Americans therefore you really can\'t make a judgement. If we say 1 out of 10 people are christians and there are maybe 20 Europeans and hundreds of Americans your gonna find that there are few if not none Christian (or closedminded as you call it) Europeans and a lot of Christain Americans.

Neither do the KKK in America. But his message about North Europeans being "more open minded" translates to "we\'re more open minded than the rest of non-Europeans". It\'s that pride about his race over the rest that gets me.

Guys, most people have take pride in their country,
I\'m sure nobody meant anything by that comment, You guys forget, most of us are European/African/Asian/etc… anyway, people in North America are a bunch of immigrants that pretend that they are a real race of "Americans"... news flash, all your families were immigrants etc... ;) North American = Indians. Everybody else = European/African/Asian/etc.. cool? Just cause you were born in North America don’t mean you are a true native, more like a conquering visitor, that decided to stay. ;)

A lot of Americans chant “USA” “USA” during sporting events, does that mean they learned that from KKK rallies? That American superiority could/probably annoys a lot of other countries, who do you think you are, Number 1 or something? ;)
Can you relate to his pride? I think compared to America, European pride is insignificant. ;) I think America has a swollen head from thinking so highly about itself. ;)
Now remember this is just my opinion.

No. I\'m not American. I just don\'t like people generalizing or stereotyping others, which is what he did. That\'s ignorance.
And how can you again...possibly...deduce that Americans cheering "USA, USA!" at sporting events learned that from KKK rallies? Is it that you, too, are stereotyping Americans as KKK members? How can you say that cheering equals "superiority"?
Lots of people cheer for the team they want to win.
Listen...YOU keep an open mind. Okay? Don\'t generalize or stereotype others. It\'s wrong.

Thanks for making that clear, the only reason I added the meaningless KKK reference is for you to make it clear for me, and contradict yourself.. ;)
So you don’t like to generalizing or stereotyping others? Damn, you did that to him. So you are saying his expression of pride is comparable to nazism, right. So if he lived in Australia it would have been ok for him to say that, at least according to you… unless you would have said, “damn those Australians and their kangaroo superiority”.

You\'re quite mistaken. I was quoting fastson. Here\'s what he said :

"We North Europeans...are more open minded."
More than who? When I said it sounds like Nazi rhetoric...the Nazi\'s were always priding themselves to be superior than other races. Do you see the connection? It may have been an innocent remark by fastson and he may not have meant it....but he should be more careful with what he says.
Do you understand now? This is getting boring since you can\'t seem to understand what\'s going on.

horrible, just horrible.
I always knew fastson had a slightly less intelligence than most of the installed members on here, but that comment throws him over the top with Bossieman.
We don\'t go making threads or topics about how good our country is, do we Bossieman or fastson? We aren\'t the ones who bring up religion topics allt he time, are we? We are open-minded enough to be fascinated with Science, yet still believe in a higher power. In your eyes that makes us close-minded because with all the theories going around, we can\'t believe one of them.
That is such crap and you know it.
Neither of the two sides will ever change their minds and that is that. If you feel so strongly in one direction or the other, I am happy for you.
When you insult religious people fastosn, you insult at LEAST half of this board. You also insult billions around the world, while holding yourself in a higher position for your miniscule communication skills with other people. Get off the subject!
