If these shots are truely the PS2 version, thats pretty awsome. Almost "too good". However, the sceptical part of me, think, when this game comes out, it won\'t look as good, but untill proven that these are false, these screens do look very good anyways.

There is more detail in MGS2 so these would be real.

But it does look impressive.

These do look suspiciously like PC shots. believe me, iv\'e finished the pc version and if it\'s true
that these are PS2 shots, then hats off to the devs. top stuff.

Sorry, but I doubt those shots are from the PS2 version. The texture are way too clear and crisp. I hate when they do that. (pass off PC shots as PS2 ones - like they did with Giants)

Oh my..

I played Max Payne on my old comp :)
(Im at the last level.. The game lags so much its almost unplayable..)

I also belive those are resized PC shots..

datamage: Heheh.. Look at "This is football 2001" it has some pretty nice textures.. So dont underestimate PS2s texture streaming ability! :D

Im sorry but these ARE from the PC version..
I remeber that shot from Pc Gamer..

I don\'t think the PS2 will be able to handle the textures as nicely...
The polygon count will probably be a little higher though.
This game kicks so much ass... :D

Max Payne is SO much fun. I doubt the PS2 version will look better than my PC version. If the developers are smart they will upgrade the in-game models. Also I am almost dreading trying to control this game on a DS2.

Well the PS2 version definitely won\'t be able to run in 1600x1200x32. :)

But the PS2 version is meant to be played on a decent sized TV, with a decent stereo. :D

I beat the game on the DOA and got all the secrets, there\'s this one part where a guy is about to get a BJ in front of his buds and Max comes in and breaks up the fun.  You end up getting in a gunfight with him while his pants are down.  I doubt that\'ll be on the PS2.  I wonder how much of this game will be censored.
