This was some prototype Atari design. I have no problem with this, Atari rules! Don\'t forget that the entire home videogaming market was invented by Atari. No matter where you go, Atari\'s been there before.

I would like to see the link to the original site they got the pic from.
BTW:That XBOX site is one of the most biased and bigot sites.They even make XBOX sound like somekind of a religion sometimes.

XBOX stole more then just the DC controller..they stole the PS2 and N64 controller and just ported the PC SideWinder Controller as well...in other words the XBOX controller is a lil from every platform into 1

Looks familiar but Sony did it 10x better. I would definately hesitate to put THAT thing on my entertainment center.

It looks somewhat familiar with the ps2. They only stole the overlapping top, and the vertical position. But it is pretty dumb how all these people get ALL OVER the subject and start to say stuff about unoriginality. Its just like saying the xbox, psx, snes, gc and n64 are all unoriginal.

Indeed No-one. I remember someone posting that pic before.
We can look at alot of designs out there and trace them back from somewhere. I mean that\'s where idea\'s come from we see something, store it in our brains and use it as reference to our new idea\'s.

I think the XBox vs. Xplod is a weaker comparison... unless you think a company can trademark a letter of the alphabet. The Xplod is much flatter and more, um.. um, compact :D And besides, how many ways can you build the X shape into a box?
