Finaly Cloud345 has come back to the forums!
I gotta vote for mgs2. I have the demo and have played it many times. It had great graphics and great gameplay. The pullups were a nice little ad on, and they also helped you hang on longer. I hope this game will get better graphics by the time it is released, if not i wont care as long as the gameplay is still as good.

MGS2, maybe SH 2.
I hope Kojima makes the guards in the
final game more smart. The graphics are
good enough. He has to focus on enemy AI !
Imo the guards are still somewhat stupid
even on very hard level ;
if they see you hiding in the box they won\'t
notice if you\'ve moved the next moment -
how stupid is that ? A box doesn\'t move
by itself unless there\'s a sneaky sneaky man
inside it !

I believe it will be Silent Hill 2.
I\'ve been a Final Fantasy whore for years, but I picked up Silent Hill a few months back, expecting a passable Resident Evil clone, and I instead got something that completely, utterly, in every way outdid Resident Evil. It\'s not just scary, it\'s terrifying. It\'s psychological horror, you jump at sounds, you can\'t see ahead of you, even your one tool to alert you to your enemy\'s prescence isn\'t 100% effective. In Silent Hill, what was coming was never as scary as what you kept THINKING was coming. Harry Mason was a man losing his sanity and it was portrayed brilliantly. And I think with the power of PS2, plus the extra zeal Konami appears to have in making the sequel, I think Silent Hill 2 will be the best of the best this year.

I think FFX is gonna be the best game for PS2 following MGS2 and Devil May Cry! :)

I put Final Fantasy X for sheer greatness. I mean you know what them games are like. The vastness of them.
However I personally think Silent Hill 2 will be better.

FFX just because I think I will get addicted to it for the longest time, other than that it\'s even steven, I will be getting ALL those games... bwahaha... ahh... now if someone could update me on exact release dates...

Kojima will make it!
MGS2 will be the game that makes you glad to be a PS2 owner. So many details, this graphics, this story and this damn cool Snake! FF X is a good game, but it\'s not new. OK, maybe the best graphics and a good story, but it\'s not new. RE 4? Well, too early to say something about it (but it will come) SH2 will be one of the best games because of the atmosphere, but the story isn\'t new, the graphics are cool but not my taste, and (in my opinion) it\'s SH1 with better graphics and new caracter models.

i had to go with metal gear on this one...
i think kojima out did himself in this installment and the demo blew me away....im almost certain that this game will excell in all aspects....
my second place choice wouldve been final fantasy because of the fact that is a brand new style...when final fantasy 7 came out, i was overwhelmed because it wasnt like rpgs in the past...it was something new and innovative..and the same thing goes with part 10....its a huge 3d world in high rez running at 60 fps...
cant wait for all these on the list....devil may cry shouldve been in the poll though.

You can\'t compare these games. They are in totally different genre\'s for the most part.
With that said, I will rephrase the question to where I can answer it.
"Which game are you looking forward to the most?"

Metal Gear Solid 2 is what I voted!
Final Fantasy have high polygons but stupid A. I. and can\'t even produce a nice shadow nor a reflection. Evolutionary gameplay, nothing much that I would consider revolution. If given FFX one more year, a lot of changes could happen, I mean in a good way. Remember ff7, 3 years development times make the game so good. MGS 1 took like 4 years development I think. MGS2 took 2 and a half years.

Where are the Rockstar games? I wanna play GTA3 and ... and ... that one riot game. They both look fun and chaotic, although their coolness factor would skyrocket if Rockstar would work on multiplayer. :D

MGS2 in my book. Just hope it doesn\'t disappoint but most likely will not from all the stuff I\'ve seen on it! BRING IT ON!! :)
