You do bring up a good point, even though 75% of those games are still in development. It\'s good that things are finally picking up for the PS2 on the software side. A lot of those PC titles (and a few console titles) are coming onto the Xbox so watch out.
note: I\'m not an avid Xbox pusher, just wanted to throw in a fact for the purpose of conversation.

Yes I know Simchoy, but I dont think Socom is the best in online military sims. Counterstrike holds that throne.
Dont get me wrong, I love to have you coming back and saying "Told you so!" in six months but personaly I dont think it will beat Counterstrike.
My list just covers those PS2 games that will be the best on any platform when you think about their respectable genre.
The list is just so incredible good! Have there ever been a machine that have covered 90% of all genres with the best games in their respectable genres on any platform before?

Look at the bold part now. I said my post was entirely opinion as was your\'s. It\'s your opinion that PS2 is better and it is my opinion that it\'s not. Like I said, we\'re both equally correct since we\'re all entitled to our own opinions. This isn\'t a very hard concept to get. I said multi-payer wise, which is entirely true. And if you consider Melee a button smasher than you HAVE to put T4 in the same catagory aswell.

That may be true but the way you were making almost all PS2 games seem less quality than GC games didn\'t seem right. Why can\'t you accept them all for great game and leave it at that. Once again it was your opinion but I would have to disagree with you once more.

Look all three systems are gonna have games that just ROCK... that\'s a fact. Some more than others....
Nintendo hasn\'t appealed to me since the days of SNES, N64 NEVER appealed to me even tho I did play both Zeldas on it.
Microsoft and Xbox have a long ways to go to prove anything to me.
Sony and their franchises are the only game in town right now far as I\'m concerned... I\'m still waiting for Syphon Filter 3 to show up, what a fantastic series.
There\'s a bunch of PSX games I\'ve yet to play not to mention all the AAA titles for Playstation 2 yet to come.
Now with my life outside of games, my job (manager at Wal Mart), my wife, and my unborn child....
I don\'t have TIME to fuss around with what\'s better than what.. I\'ve got a PS2, I\'m HAPPY with it... BOTTOM LINE.
I\'m glad the rest of you are young enough to be able to CARE (fight, argue, piss and moan) about which system is better than which...

:( ...I think I\'ll be broke by Christmas .There are too many good games this year and the begining of next year.I\'m going crazy trying to figure out which ones to get(I can\'t get them all:mad: .I guess I\'ll narrow it down to J&D,MGS2,DMC,Splashdown,FFX,GTA3,and ICO.All of them are AAA titles;) .Maybe if I get a better job I can get more.
Next year if I see good GC games(like Perfect Dark 2:D )I\'ll invest my money in the good\'ol Gamecube aswell as my PS2 :D:

Ok I\'ve been quiet this whole time. If you look at the number of my posts, sure it looks like I\'m a newbie. But I check these boards many times a day. I do not have the knowledge of gaming as most of you do, but I enjoy learning about it.
I\'ve also observed people\'s characteristics and personalities. I realized that Jumpman fights for what he believes in, but is so rude, and the comments he makes about people like calling them idiots, retards, etc are just inappropriate. What use do they have? To have people think that you\'re an ignorant asshole? Why can\'t you defend youself w/ out bashing others Jumpan? There\'s really no need for it and you\'re not impressing anyone with your name calling. Maybe if we were on the playground in 6th grade it would actually have a use.

yes. no flaming. it dosent help anyone. personal insults and such are also not appreciated here. jumpman does tend to insult people and that is what gets him in trouble. NOT his liking for gamecube or anything of the sort. he has his own right to his opinion, and to call him a fanboy because he states his opinion is not correct. yes, namecalling is bad. calling someone a fanboy is bad too.(unless they rightfully deserve it!)
so please do not jump on jumpman\'s back because of his opinion. sure if he insults you personally, flame him to your hearts desire, but do not flame him for his opinion because an opinion is something that we all have the rights to own.
