I brought two little turtles today... anyone got those?  I don\'t know exactly how you take care of them...

boil a pot of water. Crack shells, throw in whole. Let simmer for a few hours.

Salt and have turtle soup.

Damn what a great show.

If you\'re interested in actually having them as pets :), then go to your local library and look for books on turtle care.  Maybe even run a search on the internet, but be sure the person knows what they\'re talking about.  Turtles are fairly easy to care for, you shouldn\'t have any problem.

Edit: In the future you might wanna consider posting a topic that is not so broad.  More would probably reply if it said "How do you care for turtles?" etc...

I had a couple of water turtles that my uncle gave me. I was 7 or so and I gad them for a year and they were cool and then one day it excreted some really nasty green/yellow slime thing all over me. It was horrible, i got rid of them.

man, snapping turtles scare me so bad. you never know when your gonna step on one and lose a toe. i hate snapping turtles.


but im sure yours are real cute lion. you should name one Luke and the other one also Luke.

I had a turtle when I was very little. It died after a year or so. You really should name one Titan ;)

yea...oh well...

how exactly do you take care of these thing?  they don\'t seen to eat anything I feed...do they just drink da water in the tank to stay alive?

well well, my little brother just got 2 from our lake near our lakehouse, and you have to buy food from a store, somthing like turtle food or somthing, and feed it once in awhile or somthing........

i gave them a piece of wood so they can relax on it, i wonder if they will ever use it....

they have peed soo much the tank is a cloudy green... man those turtles ar very dirty, and there is somthing called samonella, which is some weird disease..... i dont care though, cant hurt me;)


but really my bro did get 2 turtles, and he is tking care of them, if they die its his fault.

well my friend and me had some when i was little and we named em after the TMNT - yea go figure

man for some reason i am getting this whole Turtle craze all over again - i went and bought a TMNT shirt and keychain and i keep talking about em again - so is my friend

anyone else doing the same sorta thing about the TMNT?
