Should I go and get Madden 02 today, or wait and see wut NFL2K2 is going to be like.  It such a hard decision, lol.

well i have same question for different games !!!

i only have money for one game this month !!

do i buy 1- Silent hill2 that will be freaky as hell ! or
              2- Grand theft Auto3 that will be fun as hell ! so what do you guys think ?

if you have DC, 2K2 easily, online play, better all around, IMO. If you have PS2 only, get Madden, who knows how well VC will do now that they have to port to 3 other systems!!

well,  madden was better than 2k1 (in my opinion)..it felt more real...the hits were felt and the lighting of the ps2 looked amazing compared to the dc\'s lighting....

dont know how the new 2k2 will be though....id wait till their both out  to compare and get the best one then..besides football season will have started already and you may enjoy them even more.... :)

Madden 2002 got a perfect score from Gamepro.
Graphics: 5
Sound:5
Control:5
Funfactor:5

It got a EGM gold award from EGM:
Graphics: 9
Sound: 7
Ingenuity: 7
Replay: 10

And it got a perfect 10 from PSM magazine.

All of them say the AI is tons better, the graphics are a lot more detailed, and the gameplay has been sped up (no more unrealistic floating football rainbow throws :)).

IMO, Madden 2002 will be the football game to own this year.

yea i like madden and i just played 2002 and i liked it
the create a team feature needs to be worked on - didnt like how you just take the roster of another team and have to edit it or create players just to make it actaully feel like another team

other then that i saw no real graphical changes except in their faces and body size

the AI is a lot better though and is more realistic - no more huge pass plays and running was a lot easier too
