Thanks to Psxnation.com for the info. I\'m picking up this one. I like the DC NFL2k and its has a better game play than Maddan 2001. In DC NFL2k I like to ram the front line guys and watch them hit the ground. In Maddan 2001 you can\'t do that, there like walls. Is this game going to rock or what. ;)

The Dreamcast\'s short life was catapulted in the beginning by one title. NFL 2K, caught most gamers by surprise with its beautiful looks and solid gameplay. It was a nice mix between Gameday and Madden that sold us and many other gamers on the early Dreamcast.
Forward two years later and Sega is now multiplatform with 2K2 coming to the PS2. These first shots already show a marked improvement in looks over the Dreamcast\'s 2K1 models. Visual Concepts seems to have had little trouble with the PS2 from what we have seen so far.
If you never owned a Dreamcast then one of the things you should know about Sega\'s Football is that it plays fast. It\'s also a little more along the lines of the old Gameday\'s but like Madden there are some physics incurred which make it a nice middle ground between the two.
Sega\'s developer, Visual Concepts, also has a nice knack for AI and Statistics. The past games have been well balanced with few money plays, though there are a few if you look hard enough. The game\'s balance in running game and passing greatly improved in 2K1 after some complaints of difficulty in the first outing.
Probably the place that the 2K series shined most for us was in the multiplayer. Gameday had always been our choice for multiple party gaming, but 2K quickly showed us a greener pasture. It\'s here that we expect that tradition to continue on the PS2.
Sega\'s first outing will have a battle with the already released and excellent Madden 2002. We have a good feeling that VC and Sega are up to the task but until we get a chance to play that answer will remain unknown.

I think the DC version of this game is coming out next week. I will be getting it for sure. Hopefully the PS2 version will be here also very soon. The battle for the best football PS2 game is going to be a big one. Who will win? My bet is on Sega and VC.
