Title: ISS Pro Evolution 2

Does anyone have this game? Recently I\'ve gotten more interested in soccer games than before, so now I\'ve got my eyes on this one... it\'s supposed to be really good so I\'ll probably see if I can find a used copy somewhere.

On a side note, what are some other PS One classics? You don\'t have to mention the Final Fantasy series as those aren\'t exactly my cup of tea. ;)

Actually I\'ve never tried any of the Resident Evil games, so I\'ll might pick one of those up as well. :)

BTW, to those who care, I\'ll get my apartment on Nov. 1st so I\'m pretty excited!

I\'m a die-hard football (soccer) fan, and let me tell you,
ISS PE 2 IS THE BEST F UCKING LIVE-ACTION SPORTS GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED! No joke, I actually imported a PAL (UK) PSOne and a multisystem TV so I could play it here in Canada and six months later on I still play it every day.

Or if you have a PS2 and live in a euro/PAL country, just wait another month or so till Pro Evolution Soccer (Pretty much ISS Pro Evo3 for PS2) comes out.

That\'s my next purchase for sure.

Samwise - yup, that\'s my review - thanks for the compliments! I\'m SGN\'s soccer, hockey and racing reviewer.

G-R has a point - ISSPE3 aka Pro Evolution Soccer will be comming out around November (there\'s a few threads in the main forum with screenshots) - and it will definately be one of the games to get.

However, there\'s still more than a month till Pro Evolution Soccer\'s PS2 release and ISSPE2 will easily tide you over till then as well as give you a good introduction to the ISS game engine.

G-R you\'re from New Zealand right? When is P.E.S. comming out there?

Oct/nov I think. I\'ll email this store and find out. It\'s around the time of my birthday (14 oct) so I\'ll see if I can scrounge it out as a b-day pressie.

I\'ve given up on ISS PE2 cos I\'ve looked around and can\'t find a shop that has it, so ISS PE1 will do till then, and then there\'s GT3 blah blah.

Are you gonna get your PS2 chipped so you can import it/play it?

Thanks for the links.

I\'m still to affraid to *** my PS2 because I\'m flat broke and if the chip ends up busting my PS2 I won\'t be able to replace it. :( However, even if I do chip it I still won\'t be able to play the PAL version of Pro Evo Soccer since I\'d need a PAL PS2 as well.

Hopefully Konami will release P.E.S. in North America early next year, if not then I will probably import a PAL PS2 and PES when I get the money.

Hey Lavan, did you ever play ISS DELUXE for SNES? THIS was the best football game and not that lame Pro Evolution 2 ;)
Ok, it\'s the best PSone football game, but DELUXE rocks!?!

bugger, I got another reply from them and they got a reply from their ISS distributor and they said that it won\'t be here in NZ till next year. Damn it all, maybe ISS2 is calling......

I havent really given ISS a chance..

Im waiting for the new version of ISS for PS2..
If I dont like that one I\'ll buy Fifa2002 :D
