Thanks to PSera for the info. This is cool news, how will it look? ;)
Yet another wireless controller
Logitech revealed recently that they will be releasing the first and only 2.4 GHz cordless controller for Playstation 2. The new controller is expected to hit around December. Finally, no more cords.
"Logitech is a firm believer in cordless connectivity at the desktop. The company is a leader in this technology, as we have brought over ten million cordless peripherals to market," said Ted Hoff, vice president and general manager of Logitech\'s Interactive Entertainment Division. " we\'ve extended cordless freedom to the PlayStation gaming environment -- Users are no longer restricted by a corded controller. They can now move freely while playing and receive the added benefit of reduced cable clutter in their homes."

God I hope this turns out to be a quality controller. I really want to cut the cord
-
cordless *drools* We don`t need no friggin cables!

Sense when did having a simple controller cord become such a nuisance that everybody wants to get rid of it so badly?

*cough* Wave-Bird rip-off *cough*

I bought a pair of cordless controllers for my PSX a couple years back. As a piece of advice, if you play your PS2 daily and you don\'t wish to invest half of your income into batteries, then stick with the norm.

I got news for you there are radio frequency controlled PS2 controllers available now at 900Mhz and they\'ve been available since way before any announcement from Nintendo
but what peves me more is your inabillity to not be a snotty biatch these days.
as for having a controller cord it sucks for lots of reasons
a.) I have a dog and a cat and the cord is easily tripped over which then causes the PS2 to be whipped across the room
b.) a controller cord is only 10 feet and in my house the living room is pretty large so to sit comfortably in my chair and not have to move it 5 foot closer to the TV to just play games is a benefit
c.) why have a cord if you don\'t have too

Logitech is the man. I can\'t wait I can lay back and never have to worrie about the cord being to short for me to recline in the chair:p
