Title: Sega sports 2k3 games?
Post by: pstwo on September 08, 2001, 09:04:07 AM
Thanks to IGN.com for the info.  Cool!! more Sega sports games!! ;)

Sega\'s announcement of "all sports-all platforms" finally will give PlayStation 2 owners a real choice to play when it comes to their favorite sports.
Sega is making strides in not only bringing the best popular sports game for the PlayStation 2, but it also has been experimenting with the not so well-known sports titles. Although it has planned to show these new PS2 titles to the press, the Sega Sports team felt they weren\'t complete enough to show the assorted press at the summit. However, we were able to sneak in during a practice rehearsal, to find out and confirm the following titles. They are:

Dodgeball 2K3

No, these aren\'t jokes, and personally I\'d buy the Dodgeball game the day it comes out. Gotta love throwing balls at people to get them out:rolleyes:

LOL, but seriously, I\'d buy Dodgeball 2k2 in a flash:D

Thats peter moore in all those pictures... the Sega of America President. It\'s supposed to be a joke.

"What he offered, however, was a truly humorous video that started off with Mr. Moore motion-capturing animations for obviously mock-titles like Ping-Pong 2K3 and Dodgeball 2K3. This portion of the video had the whole press room rolling on the floor and shows both Mr. Moore\'s great sense of humor, as well as being cool enough to humiliate himself in ways that I would never agree to."

Well I had my doubt about this. Dodgeball2k3,ping pong, swimming2k3 those games make no sense and are not even decent sports. But then Darkgamer goes and says it was true. I have no idea why I BELIEVED HIM ANYWAYS:o :o :o :o :(

Well, I thought it was funny when I first saw it...(wasn\'t sure it was a joke right away through. True, Dodgeball and Syncronized swimming are laughable, but Ping Pong...won\'t make a great standalone game admittingly, but not out of the question either...at the time since Ping Pong is a...ummmmmmmm...popular sport [niche popular at least] in Asia).

I admit I almost fell for it though...:shy:
