Heh, well i got a japPS2 import back in march 2000, then my dad bought me another Jap, not knowing i already had one, and finally i get myselv a U.S. just around christmas, to play the fixed vision of TTT.
-
Well... as I live in Europe too, what else should I buy but a PAL console ???
It´s a shame, that the gaming industrie didn´t realize, that PAL is the better standart (higher resolution) and that most of the PAL games don´t run at 60hz and so on... there are superb pal games, but there´re too less !
I´m waiting for the "Final-***" to play NTSC Imports too...

im from england, i got a pal ps2....dont mind it apart from having to wait longer for the games

Armm.. PAL has a little higher resolution than NTSC[but who cares about that, the resolution is soo crappy on a tvset anyways], but that\'s it!!
NTSC runs in 60hz, which means it always runs the right speed on any game, you have no bars on top/bottom of screen unlike PAL vision+ the games come up to 7 months earlier on jap/u.s.
PAL is so bogus, have you seen TTT on PAL?? WTF it\'s soo slow it\'s like playing the replays on the NTSC vision, i can\'t play a PAL game for more than 1 min, i just get soo mad of how lausy and crappy they made it, i been buying import machines/games for the last eight years[when the SNES and genesis was hot!] and i would never ever buy a PAL game, get yourselv a jap or u.s PS2 and feel the game the right way as it was meant to.

NTSC. I have a Jap and a US PS2 (I first bought the Jap PS2 cause I couldn\'t wait for the American release). Here in México we use NTSC as our TV standard and all games are imported from the US. We have same release dates as the US also. I have never played a PAL game on a PAL TV, the only PAL games I have played are Dreamcast soccer games cause I imported them from Spain cause in America were never release.
