Games will have full support for progressive scan. DVD playback will not.
Jeff
No progressive scan?
-
Hmm, I\'d say it\'s the other way around. But I\'m not 100% sure so I\'ll just shut up. Either way, an official confirmation would be nice.
-
I\'ll believe it when it is official. The last official comment made was from Allard at E3 stating it was a progressive scan DVD player. I don\'t even know who the hell this guy is.
-
Looks like Panasonic\'s GameCube Hybrid will take the stand as the best in resolution Console/DVD Player.
-
Who the hell is this guy and I hardly think this can count as an offical comment from Microsoft regarding progressive scan , so therefor, I would ignore all this crap and just assume the DVD playback will still support progressive scan, until we hear otherwise from Microsoft .

Well what fastson posted was a rumor of what some guy said. Which should not even be taken seriously. ANd txb members are not MICROSOFT EMPLOYEES.
