Naah i doubt anything is going on.  i think nintendo fans just want some squaresoft games that Ps2 is getting :).  But on the other hand, I\'d be happy having some rare games on my Ps2...

Yeah lets not forget nintendo never lies:eek:

I mean RE 0-4 FOR GAMEcube exclusive. And add square to that  and i would say that nintendo has put itself in a better position to become number 1 again.

yea but whos to say its straight from nintendos mouth

i mean they are rumors and should be taken lightly and thats how i will take em till i got some more info on it all

Remember, Square was never bought by Sony really, so they are a third party and have expressed some light interest in NIntendo, so it would not surprise me if Square made some FF games or another series for Nintendo, but I truly doubt it would be exclusive.

Square/EA is already publishing games for NGC. Rogue Leader and Fifa are getting published by them in Japan I believe. So technically they\'re already back on board.

But FFXI being exclusive is utter crap. Maybe another game, but definitely not FFXI. Sony would get a hissy fit and pay them more money. I\'d like to see another Chrono game on NGC instead minus the 40 playable characters. *shudders*

Just a seperate company, owned partially by both, that ports, translates games.

Now, that doesn\'t mean I believe that Square won\'t come to Nintendo one form or anther. Specifically, FFXI. A game, thats completely online. A game that needs a maximum of userbase since online playing isn\'t for everyone (epecailly consoles users). I would not be surprise to see this game coming to the GC. Saying that, I extremely doubt Square would make FFXI exclusive for said reasons why it might be coming to all systems.

And QuDDus, there is always room to be surprised. And rumors, so out there, could be true. However, this rumor, no one really knows that this rumor came from Nintendo. For all we know, it came from a man on the street. Saying that, also, I don\'t think anyone here saw Resident Evil becoming a Nintendo exclusive coming either. I don\'t think there was even a rumor to that news before that happened.
