I don\'t believe in Prophechies, but this is some pretty scary stuff.
"In the City of York there will be a great thunder, Two Twin brothers torn down by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb" , "The third big war will begin when the big city is burning" - Nostradamus 1654
The City of York: New York City
Two Twin Brothers: WTC Tower #1 and #2
The Fortress: The pentagon (It wasn\'t destroyed)
There are many different interpretations of this one prophecy... Anyone have any others? Sometimes the wording is different.

Animal Mother, I seen the HBO program on Nostradamus over 10 years ago and I seen NYC building falling down from a missile attack. This is Freaky!!!

I believe you got that prophecy wrong. I never remember in the city of York, or that what i think anyway.

Amen Videoholic. Remember this is the internet where thousands get a kick out of making up or bending truths and watching sheeple react to it.
Always try to research your topic to see how accurate it is, especially with a subject like this.

Remember, we are not reading his prophecies in the original text. That and, Nostradamus likes writing in symbolism (and symbolism can be interperted many ways, including proof that it is a hoax).

Many have said they heard a propechy similar to that ( perhaps not word to word ) - one witness is our darling Ddaryl, and his word I trust.
so it\'s not a hoax - but it could be a coinsidence; or the propechy could mean other event. The cleverness in those propechies are the way they\'re written, as they can fit to many situations.
Don\'t get yourself too scared before you read that exact prediction from a book about nostradamus\'s predictions, published BEFORE 11th of September 2001.

this is false. go out and get a book of his readings. everything on the internet is crap. people have changed many, and they are false. if you read that, how can a brother be torn down? some one changed that..

his "prophesies sp?" are so generalized that they can be put on almost any suituation.

i remember it was told that Nostradamus predicted the world would end in \'99, then the very same story the following year and now this
don\'t get me wrong i believe we are in "the last days" that is very clear to me but no one including Nostradamus knows when that final day will be.
Nostradamus clearly had a gift, but people modify his predictions to their liking as stated so many times in this thread.

the Trouble about old N is he was so vauge about is "Prophecyies" that they could mean anything.
i mean the last time i read his words of wisdom he clammed that the Earth would be destroyed totllay 3 times and the suvivours would be invaded by Aliens.
oh and animal the line "the great leader will succumb" and George W BUSH can never be used in the same sentence

Nostradamus used astrology. He did not have a \'gift\'. He used satanic powers to foresee the future.
You can see they really worked, can\'t you...
His prophecies have never ever directly come true.

I don\'t think astrology classifies as "satanic powers", but then again, I don\'t believe in either one, so who am I to say?

Seen it, old news... I find it remarkably accurate though. Muslims must have planned it pretty well.

Especially people who "claim" to see in the future, or talk to the dead and so forth (Ms. Cleo, couldn\'t find any one more fake if I even tried. Still wondering about John Edward). But even in Nostradamus\' relatively vauge "prophecies", if the translations are correct, to similar to what has happen just to simply brush them off in the interpertations I can get from them (New City? Two Towers? Fire in the Sky?). I will question them, and deffinetly won\'t take them as fact, but still, they are...interesting to say the least.

Spicey foods would just make it burn. I need more fiber. I\'m ok though. Believe me I make that one time every other day really count. Plunger is always nearby.
