Boeing plans 30,000 layoffs, American Airlines cuts 20,000 and sources say United will drop 20,000.
They said 100,000 is the total amount of jobs expected to be cut.
Wow man that is just shocking ot hear. 100,000 expected and 70,000 already wow.

Guess who works for Boeing Commercial Airplanes ?????

still got your work Ddaryl right ? well i wish you luck :( its kinda sad to lose a job
-
Well the bad news is I\'m the lowest man on the senority poll for my job
the good news is they can retain a small persentage of persons if they deem that persons skill good enough to not want to lose them
I have been retained twice already, Hopefully they\'ll do it again
-
Damn, best of luck to you ddaryl. I\'d hate to hear otherwise.

yeah ddaryl I hope your skills and what not keep you on the boeing team man. It sucks too lose a job. And too see all these ppl lose jobs man it is kind of sad. I mean we already where suffering from a high unemployment rate and now more.
-
Isn\'t Continental laying off a few thousand as well?
:(
-
What really sucks is I just made my 3rd payment agains my 30 year Mortgage
Oh well I\'m not too worried, I happen to be i skill trades and they won\'t hit us as hard as they will other departments.
Not to mention I\'m sure my unemployment benefits will get exteneded not to mention I can go to college while being laid off and have my union pay for it while collecting unemployment as well.
Then there is always the option of working off the books if I can find such a jon while collecting unemployment
-
well i hope it doesnt happen ddaryl but at least you have enough sense to think ahead
good luck and i wish the best for ya :)
