Mariah, although incredibly hot, had a tired and strained voice tonight.

As a singer and an ex-smoker, I can definitely tell you that she has been smoking hard recently.  Must be all the troubles she\'s had.

Anywho, The Boss kicked ass and Billy Joel was fantastic!

I gotta go to bed, I\'ve been up for almost a week straight now, and I have to continue working 12 hour shifts without a day off tomorrow morning.

How sad... a few of you act as though they\'ve commited a crime by stealing some of your precious TV for two hours in order to do this.   It\'s not about the music that is played, or the celebrities that are there.  This entire telethon is being held to help everyone affected by the tragedy, and to aid in uniting the nation a little more.  If you can\'t even give them credit for that without complaining, then I\'ve greatly overestimated the decency in some of you.

I\'ve been watching on and off. Will the CIA be phoning in and donating their 26 billion dollar budget?

Even though we don\'t watch it doesn\'t mean we don\'t care. My family donated $50 on the lines.

I\'m upset that they have taken Transformers off since this incident. I can only watch the same building go down, due to a plane hitting it a few times. After that, it just gets more and more disgusting..Unlike Transformers..

(By the way - I am joking, well sort of. I am getting tired of the constant news coverage and I do miss some of my regular programs, but oh well. It is just TV. )

No way, she aint that dumb I dont reckon, I mean, she has got one incredible voice to look after, and I don\'t think she\'d risk her carrier on some smokes.

I think she was just emotional, just like everyone else was. Did you see Julia Roberts and Amy Brenneman? They almost started crying, so did Cameron Diaz.

It was a pretty emotional thing I reckon, for all involved.

Will someone please cut off Mariah Carey\'s hands???  It drives me nuts how she has to do that with her hands when she sings.

All and all I thought the music was great.  I did find two things odd.  Celine Deion sang one of the most patriotic american songs.  She\'s Canadian.  But I guess that\'s kind of symbolic of the world and how they are for the US.

I also found it odd that Willie Nelson sang the final song.  Is he not a pot smoking Tax Evader?

Guarantee you that a CD/DVD will come out with the music.  Great sound mix on all accounts.  It is truly a credit to the people who put this together.  Very few mistakes for such a quick production.

Neil Young - Take a Shower!!!
Tom Petty - Man, you are looking old.  Dye the beard.
Eddie Veder - You look like a computer tech, not a rock star.  What happened to the long hair?

Can\'t think of any others right now.

Now that is the funniest thing you\'ve ever said. She didn\'t do the hand thing that much I don\'t think, but it annoys me how she takes the mic out of the holder ever 20 sec\'s and then puts it back, and then gets it out again... Make your mind up lovey.

She ALWAYS does the hand thing.  That\'s why I can\'t stand her.  Great voice, but I can\'t look at her.

Amen, I was thinking the same thing.

I hope I don\'t offend, but, I think Neil Young is one talentless Sonnuva*****.  He can\'t sing, and I don\'t think he can play the guitar at all!

He did fairly well on the piano tonight, but, hell, so could I given enough practice time!

Sorry, I don\'t like that dirty hick.

And Racer, you wouldn\'t think Whitney Houston would do anything to her incredible voice either, would you?

Coke can ruin a voice as much as smoking.

I heard part of it on the radio and I\'m curious. Who was the idiot who ruined John Lennon\'s "Imagine"? It was terrible!
