"According to the UK branch of Konami\'s operations, Silent Hill 2 will be released on American shores on Nov. 23rd, not the end of September as originally announced. "

This was reported by *FGN* yesterday, and though I thought this only impacted European gamers, my fears of the delay extending to North America were eventually realized today when I read this...

My gaming time allocation was going to be 50% ICO and 50% SH2, now ICO gets my undivided attention. But, SH2 is not the only Konami release late Nov, so my predicament is now deferred.
Still, it\'s a win-win situation now matter how you slice it.

I don\'t believe it. Especially since this news hasn\'t been posted on other sites.

Do you think Konami will push back SH2 to launch close to MGS2? I doubt it.

edit: Also funny how SonyWeb didn\'t provide a quote or link to their source. Hmm,. my sources told me that a subdivision in Konami made mention about releasing the MGS2 uncut version next year. :rolleyes:

Im pretty a$$ positive this isnt true and im pretty sure the release date is set at the end of september.  I dont think they would push it back so close to release.

I heard this two days ago yet no other sight has reported it.  Sounds like bull**** to me.  It was delayed in the UK and somehow got turned around that it was delayed here.  I wouldn\'t worry about it at all.
