Bah.. I think I broke my 2nd PS2  

By mistake!!!
ARGH!!

When I was watching a DVD the movie started skipping.. (just like my old PS2!)
Then I remembered that some people were talking about dust on the lens..
So I ran upstairs got my old (very old!) lens-cleaner!

So I put it into the disc-tray let the PS2 examine the disc.. (sounded like the "brush" was hitting the lens at 24x speed!!)

Then when I got the "Can not read disc" sign I put the DVD movie back and started playing.. Now its all f@cked up!!  

Im such a IDIOT!!

Can they replace my PS2 twice??

And where are the new models coming in?
My old PS2 was a SCPH-30004 and the latest one was a SCPH-30004!

HELP!

Well you\'ve got horrible bad luck. I\'ve yet to break mine yet. Just return it to a store for a new one.

They don\'t care.  They just return it.  No skin off their back and you are happy which will make you buy an extra game.

Ok.. Thanks.. Thats what I thought..

Anyways Ive e-mailed http://www.playstation.com and see if they know anything about a new model.
Ive also e-mailed Egmont.. The Scandinavian PlayStation publisher!

Bossieman: Have you got you\'r new PS2 yet? Same SCPH-30004 or a new version?

is it within 90 days of it breaking again? my ps2 broke twice, both times it was h fan, but the second time, it was free because it was within the 90 day warranty

Well.. My other friend just got his new PS2..
Its a SCPH-30003..

It has a new fan.. A ned CD-ROM.. So the regular CD_ROM games (ie. SSX, Q3R) does not sound anything..
Plus the went infront of the PS2 is placed higher than the older model..

What\'s the point on putting the vent higher up? Is it just for appearance or does it actually do something?
