Title: New PGR interview.

Best quote in the whole article, and its prolly true anyways.

Quote
IGN Xbox: What, in your opinion, are the best and worst things about Gran Turismo? What\'s it like having to launch a system with a game that\'s going to be instantly compared to Sony\'s racing title?
Raja Subramoni: There\'s not much you could say about \'worst points\' for Gran Turismo! It was a fresh, original and highly addictive idea, and I\'m sure any developer would be proud to have been part of it. The point we admire the most in the current game is probably the presentation – it\'s extremely slick, tuned and polished.

There really is not a "worst thing" about GT. If we had to choose a worst point, other than not having enough time to play it, then it would probably be that the series hasn\'t expanded its gameplay much – the gameplay is still awesome, but GT3 is pretty much the same game as GT2.

We can see how Project Gotham could be compared with GT, as we\'re both 1st party titles, being released as key racing titles for the platforms. However, other than both having cars and tracks, there\'s a lot of difference in the gameplay. Gran Turismo focuses on car \'collect-\'em-up\' features whereas in Gotham, the focus is more on the driver, and his or her skill, style and daring over a variety of progressive challenges. We\'re all about what you do on the track and your rewards come from your fast, stylish, and daring driving – not from how you well you tune your car.

Oh well, typical Xbox first party talk.

I agree with him for the most part.  This is exactly the opposite of most Xbox developers.  He actually praised a game on another system instead of trash talking it. :)

Wait, you were comparing Madden and Fever.

Bah, whatever. PG looks better in certain areas and so does GT3. :p

They bashed both Tekken 4 and TTT.  They thought that DOA2 was superior to TTT.

Well it is good to see some people dont all act like little kids and run around bashing the competitors

they just threw it out there by saying they were glad to be compared to GT3 pretty much since GT3 was an awesome game

i respect them for that
