Aiite..... Here it goes....
Sony:
Well... I know everyone is saying sony is going to be be number one.. I have my doubts. So far only Gran Turismo 3 and a handful of games have really done good. I mean the rest of the games.... well plainly suck...I\'ve been a supporter of sony for awhile now... But im slowly just saying what the hell is up with sony. The games are just horrible. And if you try to debate it they\'ll go wait till msg2 or ffx.... well.... Why wait? how bout good games now. Oh Wait till bouncer comes out... I did and it sucked... Wait till dark cloud comes out.... I did it sucked.... Only games that got my attention were GT3, SSX, NBA Street, and DOA2.... The rest of the games.... well... Im sorry just again suck... So I feel that sony might actually wind up comming second or tied at first with Nintendo.... Just because their games are fewer but have more quality... and come out faster.... Unless Sony keeps releasing blockbusters im going to support both sony and nintendo.
Nintendo:
Alright now Nintendo has been doing everything right so far. And could possibly have the greatest launch of all time the way its going. I mean their games look great and with the ammount of units avilible you\'re sure to get your gamecube. Plus the games quality is great, and not to diss sony or xbox... but they put alot of time and effort something few sony or xbox developers do. But I mean Squaresoft, Konami, and Nintendo are the only few developers... who actually spend time on what they make.... Some sony titles such as GT3 are the exceptions... I think Nintendo will be a good contender vs the playstation 2.
Microsoft:
Microsoft basicly has no hope. And i\'ll just build my speech on that. Micrsoft may have flashy gimmicks and graphics and a half billion dollar campeign but from what I hear and see the games look like trash and play like trash. Plus I want a computer I\'ll get a pc. Xbox is just too much like my pc.... bu my pc would trash the xbox in everyway... so I\'ll stick to my pc.. I see this as another 3do.... Ppl will rush to buy it for a day then throw it out the window...

You forgot to put "IMO". I like alot of PS2 games now, I could list them for you if you want.:D

Well, seeing as how Gamecubes launch (in Japan) wasn\'t very sucessful , I don\'t see them doing everthing right. Hopefully Nintendo will learn from the launch and succed in the US launch.

I see a a few more of Sony games getting attention, ex. ICO,Twisted Metal: Black, Jak and Daxter , Wipeout Fusion, Kinetica, and Airblade, I\'m sure there are a few more that haven\'t been announced yet

I don\'t know about, they might have a chance in the future. just not this year.IMO

IMO all the launch games for the Gamecube look incredibly boring.
There\'s nothing to this date about that machine I\'ve been impressed by.
And like GAMES said, they aren\'t doing everything right right now coz it\'s not selling too good in Japan at the moment.

I don\'t see much exciting in Nintendo\'s line up either when compared to whats available on the PS2 and up coming on Xbox
RS2 looks awesome after that nothing stands out IMO

I mean... Maybe they held the great games till Xbox and GC is released.... That way they scare all of those Xboxers and GayCubers toward the PlayWithMeStation 2.... (Sorry.. I had to make fun of all if I make fun of one.) And if they can\'t do that.... Well... it\'s a good idea...

Your a Ho? LOL, PS2 has the brightest future. That is prolly true, but who knows what these other consoles are going to do. PS2 may have its kick ass exlclusive content, and GC, and Xbox each have thier own killer apps, it is hard to say who will come out on top.

My outlook for this war is like this,
Nato will have its forces in Nintendo-land,
while the US will bomb SONY-stan,
while the russians invade Xbox-ia.

I agree 110% with everything you said GAMES. Like I said there alot of AAA title coming to ps2. With 17 million sold I don\'t think sony has to many worries about failing.
As for nintendo they had a bad launch in japan and the second week they only sold 29,000 which isn\'t good at all after a systems launch.
M$ isn\'t going to be counted out so fast I been to eb and xbox is getting more attention than ps2 and gamecube combined. Its being shown everywhere. IMO I think xbox has some awesome up and coming games, I\'m getting one at launch. I think xbox has a VERY good chance at being successful this gen.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

Well, since the PS2 has a bright future, what is coming out for it in 2002?
Finally, all of the games that were talked about when PS2 launched are coming out this year. What\'s left for PS2 in 2002 (mainly Q2 and beyond.)

well, thats when goodies like XenoSaga and the like start coming out...and when other developers start making sequals, and other games
dont think theirs just gonna be a drought...there are still like....5+ great in house games etc...if i was more up to date i\'d give you a more accurate list

ElAsesino well Sony is developing some really inovative games..
Ive heard talk about a StarWars Lightsaber game based on the webcam/video camera technolegy demo..
FFX is coming out in 2002.. Aswell as FFXI and a few other online games :)
Onimusha 2, Getaway (think it has been delayed!)..
I havent really been looking that far into the future..
Ive been looking at the next 2-3months :)
Im sure we\'ll see a few new announcements at E3.. Im hoping for Bouncer 2 (longer and better gameplay) and ZOE2.. (saa-weet!) ect.

I\'ll just wait and see what\'s available in 2002. It really doesn\'t matter though, since I\'m not getting a PS2 until it\'s $200.
BTW, does anyone know if XenoSaga will have random battles? I hate random battles.

I think there would be, look at Xenogears.
Bobby - I actually say, what is coming after X-Box? because I think the launch looks sucky. I don\'t thinkanything looks to fun, but the games coming after give me shivers.

It is kind of funny that ppl say the xbox launch does not impress me when they have not played any of the games or took the time to even read up and see how they are coming along.
But you went out and waited in longs lines and bought a ps2 that launched with games that fell way under par to the library of games sega had on dreamcast at the time.
How bizzare is that:eek:

correction - PS2 had sequels to extremely popular PSX games. PS2 had a VERY safe launch, it just sucked because I happen to dislike all of those series or new games on that list.
X-Boxs launch just doesn\'t look that cool. I am sure I wil like PG, since I liked MSR, and probably one or two other but at launch that is it.

Some guys seem to not realize X-Box is not a "mini PC"...it\'s a console,a powerful console with huge support from the best developers...
