.....while one may get used to it, the control for Devil May Cry will have many wondering "Why the hell didn\'t you think of this before?"
DMC is a simple, common sense control scheme that would have made RE and SH2 far easier to control! Man, I loved RE when it first came out in early \'96. Then Tomb Raider came out and I thought...."Maybe in RE2, they\'ll have a more agile control system."
That didn\'t happen. If they had the type of control that DMC has now, I\'m sure many more of my friends would have appreciated RE series more. But a few of them just didn\'t like the way the characters moved.
Then Onimusha came out. An RE clone. And I thought for sure that analog control and a tweaked control scheme would finally arrive. Nope. Same thing, save for the side stepping part. And the same friends who COULD have liked RE(but didn\'t coz of the control) also did not like Onimusha as much. Surprised? Not really.
But now DMC is here. Man oh man! What fun! WHAT FUN! I sure hope the Gamecube version of RE series will utilize this.
Thank you. My rant ends here. :D

I like the way they added the control option to Silent Hill 2. You can decide how you want to be able to control the character. I think the people who work on the Resident Evil series wanted to give the people fluid camera changes, so that if you were running down a hallway and the camera changes angles for a more cinimatic feel, you wouldn\'t have to press the other direction to get to where you were going quickly.
