Would it be a good idea to buy a Dreamcast now that they are down in price or is it better to save up and buy a GC or Xbox? BTW, this is for my bro, not me.

Well, it depends man.
If you want games like...
Shenmue
UFC
Grandia 2
Skys of Arcadia
Shenmue 2
Street fighter 3
Theres to many games, I\'d say, go for it, because theres alot of AAA titles out there for 20 dollars. DC is a good investment, if you want Sega quailty AAA games. Basically, go for it, you can get most of the games i mentioned about for 20 bucis, except Shemue 2 which isn\'t out til Decemeber.

I\'d definitely go for Dreamcast. It\'s got tons more games than NGC or XBox will for months, and they\'re all cheap. If you don\'t have a Dreamcast by now, you are teh big red suck.

Someone in the industry speculated that the Dreamcast may be reduced to as low as $49.99 around Christmas or New Years, depending on stock remaining at that time. That was reported in July, so who knows where it stands now?

Well here\'s the scoop on what happened. I agreed to sell all the old N64 stuff, and then my bro went out and bought a dreamcast, matt hoffman BMX, world series 2k2, and a memory card... I got half, being that most of it was mine, and we were sharing amoung 3 people... so anyway, I\'m picking up 2 PS2 games instead, and my bro\'s got the DC and a few games... all is settled, and all it well :)
BTW, I\'m getting Madden 2002, and Okage: Shadow King... and next week, Devil May Cry, and later this month, SD!JBI, and finally MGS2 in November... that\'ll hold me til Christmas...;)
Come on... too many good games to resist...
