Title: I am new here, I came from the now closed PS2 Web forums.
Post by: PS2 INFORMANT on October 06, 2001, 05:51:39 PM: Greetings, as the topic sentance states I have come here from the now closed PS2 Web forums. I posted there under the name "THE PS2 INFORMANT" but I am using "PS2 INFORMANT here due to limitations of availible name length. I am wondering are their any former PS2 Web regulars that post here?

For those of you that do not know me I have a great deal of PS2 knowledge and have spent a large amount of time defending the PS2 from attacks by misinformed fans of other consoles.

I do not care if a person chooses to support another machine but I would like to see this done inteligently (meaning an absence of "flames" and other attacks attacks on supporters of the PlayStation 2 or other consoles for that matter.)

One question, how active are these forums at the present time?

I look forward to contributing actively to the discussions at hand and fitting in well at these forums.

This is the best message board on the net, in terms of singular console preference.

some tips:

Console Debating is a fun place, but don\'t get vaught up in an argument. We all like different consoles in their, multiple consoles, just because we may joke about PS2 from time to time, doesnt mean we don\'t enjoy a PS2 game now and then.

Off-topic is spam city. I do not encorage reading the ridiculous posts unless you want to be zombified into spamming. It is unavoidable.

Main forums are the boring part of PSX2c. Nothing exciting in here happens anymore. I hardly post in here, and it is usually related to Sega if I do.

Samwise is a porn director and No-One is his sex pet.

I was gone for awhile (a long while), and when I came back I had a slight falling out with a few of the members there, shortly after the Web was killed so now I\'m here. This place is very cool and the people are all (generally) pretty friendly. So relax and have some fun!

Didn\'t they change the name to PS2 Vision? I was on that site for a short time as Titan. Uh, very short, like a day and two posts. Anyway, I\'m Titan. Note to Bozco - shut up. I would only be a fanboy if I only bought one gamemaker\'s products, but I own a PS2, DC, 3 EFFING PSX\'s, SNES, Genny, etc., etc,etc. I have played more games then you have ever heard of, much less wish you owned. I will own X-Box and GC, I play with an open mind, I just happen to prefer Sega games to all others. The funny thing is, I haven\'t seen you make a positive comment about X-Box, GC, DC, Sega, MS, etc. But somehow you are not a fanboy. The only reason I start crap with you is so me and SonyFan can have a laugh about it when we are playing PSO, online.

But of course, DC sucks, doesn\'t it?
