Title: PS2 Realistic racing games
Post by: wrighto001 on October 07, 2001, 01:14:19 PM
Looking for realistic racing/car games preferablly off road that includes car wrecks, body damage, tire/engine wear and adverse weather conditions.
I own GT3 which is very good however I am dissapointed in some parts of the game play. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

Try Paris Dakar Rally, or wait for World Rally Championship

Yeah...I\'d echo these thoughts as say wait for WRC.

Probably best to wait for Colin McRae 3

You might be waiting awhile though

Jarret and Labonte Stock Car Racing has all you listed (except for being off road) and a lot more. The only problem is that it\'s a PSX game, but with the texture smoothing options on it still looks great. The damage model is second to none in console racing, same for the AI and the racing model.
