Oh boy...  I really wish we wouldn\'t bomb these freaks in Afghanistan because I would really enjoy living my life in fear of opening a freaking letter.

It seems the Anthrax scare at the National Enquirer is a little more serious then thought.

I too am in Florida, and this anthrax news is rather scary. I\'m not going to hide in my house scared however.

I use to work down in West Palm.  As a matter of fact, I\'ve been to that building numerous times before.  


Gooey white substance in the envelope?  I wonder if people are going to start sending each other shpoody?

Just an interesting little side note that anthrax is not contaigious, only when are person comes into contact with it directly can it be caught.

Ok here are the facts !

and the main reasons not to panic !

• Anthrax is a poor choice for biological weapon attack, this is due to the fact that it is higlh difficult to use effectivly. In order to contract Antrax you have to inhale vast quantites of it, and not only thatyou have to find an appropiate medium to do it. Just spraying some around will not do.
• The reason behind this is that the small particle size of anthrax requires a medium to "hold" it in the air, if it is done ineffectifly the reslt will be athat the particles being lodged in the top end of the throat (antrax require to be inhaled deeply to work).
• Ok Antrax can be produced easily by experts in this field, but even they aggree that the sucessful application WILL NOT be possible with out current Millitary Grade equipment. Just spraying it at some on dose not work, and even a cloud of this stuff would just disperse with air currents and out atmosphere.
• Even an enclosed space wont do this was demostraded by Japanese extremist on the tokyo undergorun (remeber they tryed numerous time and failed and then resorted to syren (pardon the spelling)

Before everyone gets scared of Anthrax, just remember the kind of disease we are dealing with:

A non-contagious disease.

A rare and difficult to actually implement in a weapon disease.

A disease in which only 18 people have been diagnosed and died from in the entire HISTORY of the United States.

This situation is getting out of controll, two anthrax infection found in th Us

Now this moring they found one infection in Germany. Just a few minutes ago it is reported that two security guards of the american ambassey here in holland have opened a packed with white powerdery stuff! possibly the anthrax virus. They are currently investigating the situation, if this indeed is anthrax no one will be safe for bio warfare, no matter where on this earth you are!

Last week there were over 10 letters in Germany with sentences like "Anthrax, no salt" "The war has begun" "Open this letter and your life will be changed" and many bomb alarms. Sick and not funny!
