you mean the laptops?  They are the thinnest you can buy, but you pay for it.  They are aimed more towards the Japanese market since they love small, pocket-sized electronics.

With that kind of money I\'d look towards a Thinkpad.  You can carry the extra 5lbs right?

it depends on what you want man.

i was looking at one at best buy that was like $1000

i dont remember its specs though.


i just dont really know anything about em.

lemme get this straight Luke, your PS2 isn\'t working, it isn\'t even a year old...and you are looking at a Sony Computer!?!?!?

you know computers on average have more problems than consoles.

Look towards the light my friend...IBM or Dell!

Ah..

Sony has my soul, so I must get all SONY products ;)

Sony makes the BEST monitors.. (Thats what my computer shop says anyway.. And our beloved nO-One! :D)

It has got alot of new stuff.. USB support. (can use it as a handcontroller for PSOne)

I have had a VAIO for about 6 months now.  I have a 1.3ghz.

Things I like.  It looks nice.  It has USB in the front and the back.  It has firewire port in front.  Comes with a lot of bogus software you will never use.  Unless you like really cheasy video editing.  Side case comes off very easily.

Things I don\'t like.  The cases are small so not much room for expansion.  Although it does come with a DVD player and a CDR, so you could get rid of one of these if they come out with something new and you ned the 5 1/4 spot.

I\'ve never had any problems with it.

I\'ve had a Vaio for 4 years. This Vaio Destop 220, 266mhz All- in Wonder Ati Rage Pro. Its a trust worthy machine, and it runs much faster than many other 266mhz PCs.

My parents bought me a 24 inch Sony Wega for playing my PS2 and Dreamcast and I must admit the picture quality is amazing.  Sony make excellent Televisions.
