Quite a shake-up in the WRC driver line-up for next year.
It\'s certainly going to be interesting to see what becomes of the rest of the 2001 season!

Interesting..
Im looking forward to it..
Subaru has really good rally cars..
(Better than Mitsubishi IMO)
I think he\'s gonne rule again..
Any news on where McRae is heading??

WAAAAHOOOOO! Makinen signs with Subaruuuuu! :D
But Burns may sign with Peugeot! But his contract with Prodrive is pretty tight. We\'ll have to see.....for a while, it may be Burns Makinen under the Subaru banner! :D

That\'s interesting. I always thought that he will stay with Mitsubishi. Hmm, guess not. Subaru is already doing great, I\'d like to see what happens with Makinnen.

SUBARU 0wnz j00

So who\'s going to drive the new Mitsubishi Rally car for the next season?
The Lancer Evo VII is going to own, but not without a good driver. It should be interesting to se the new Subaru Vs. The new Lancer.

About the link...sorry bout that!
But as for McRae, don\'t think he\'s going anywhere. The Focus seems to be very reliable as of late plus he\'s getting paid quite a substancial amount of money by Ford (who seems to have endless pits of resources). I\'ll be VERY surprised if he moved anywhere in the next 2 years.
As for Subaru, they\'ve always had better cars than Mitsubishi. Just an indication of how good Makinnen is to have won 4 world rally championships with a "inferior" car (well, compared to it\'s competition anyway but goodness knows, even the damn Group N cars can out-accelerate most cars!!)

Is rally racing big in other countries? I hardly ever see events on TV here in the states. Maybe I\'m just not watching the right channels.

I watch my rallying on Speedvision.

Do you watch speedvision a lot?
We are at them right now for a 3 show deal.
Cross your fingers for me!!!

I wish rallying was big here. We get NECKCAR or NASCAR as some people call it. I saw my first one on SpeedVision the other day and it was unbelivable! Nascar=left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left,left....

I find something to watch. It\'s usually races. I mostly watch TransAm, American LeMans, Lemans 24 hours (yes I have no life. Atleast that weekend :D), and rallys (if I know when they are).
What are you doing for Speedvision? What shows I mean.

I could tell you, but then I\'d have to kill you.
I\'ll let you all know when the contracts are signed....

Yeah same here.
I usually watch F1, parts of the American LeMans Series, the Speedvision GT and touring car championships, and the WRC summaries.
I also love to watch the motorcycle races, they\'re definitely far more competitive than almost anyother motorsport you can find.

It\'s big here in Australia but not as big as V8 Supercars.
But as for rallying, if you go to countries such as UK and Finland, it\'s pretty much the dominant motorsport event.
I like it because it give opportunities for drivers to drive sideways....on different surfaces such as tarmac and snow!!!! :D
It\'s pretty bad because when I drive, I pretend that I\'ve got a rally car and drive sideways....not as good as them though.
