Well I agree 110% well to me every since n64 nintendo hasn\'t been the same. GC launch in japan was horrible I mean 3 games what is this a joke to them? GC been out for over a month and guess what?? What? What? What? What? No new games are out!!!!!! While sony has sererval titles released in japan and nintendo sits on there butt. No wonder ps2 is killing gamecube sales in japan nintendo dereserve what there getting. A beating by sony and hopefully M$ will give them a beating just as bad. As for me I\'m tried of nintendo with there slow realses, limited genres, and there kiddy games. I\'ll stick with sony and M$ thats the future there. Oops, for just one second I thought this topic might have been about 1080 Snowboarding, SSX Tricky, and Dark Summit.
Anyway, they are definitely screwing up in Japan but hopefully holiday releases can generate some more sales for them. Luckily, the US launch has much more support. Nintendo itself has spaced out its games, however, delaying SSB: Melee for two and a half weeks.

IT especially sucks when you think about the hundreds of AAA games that the PS2 launched in Japan with. Oh wait......
You talk about all of the Japanese releases for the PS2 like it cam out a month before the GCN. Its been out for a year and a half. Did you not expect them to have more game released? C\'mon get your head out of your man-love chute.

Yes, but why does it take nintendo so long to realsed a another game. Heck, at the end of march 2000 ps2 had TTT out. The system launched with 12 games as well. How long is it going to take gamecube to get 12 games out in japan!?!?!

And yes the PS2\'s launch wasn\'t that great in Japan, but this is a completely different situation. The PS2 was competing with nobody. The NGC is competing with the PS2 which is already way ahead. The NGC can\'t compete if it doesn\'t get a lot more games.

Yep, they did screw the launch worsre than Sony. At least Sony had 12 Average-below average games....and a steady supply of them for a while(and some great games too) That\'s better than a mere 3 average-above average(but not great) games. A bit pathetic really. It wouldn\'t matter if Luigi\'s Mansion and Waverace and Super Monkey ball were amazing, but they\'re aren\'t-they aren\'t that good at all.

Look, I\'m no Nintendo hater. In fact, I have often said that no company understands what makes a game addicting to play more than Nintendo. But if the company wants to make strides and reclaim its position atop the video game hill, repeating some of the same mistakes it made with the Nintendo 64 isn\'t the way to go about it. Nintendo may deserve to be the king of video games, but Sony and Microsoft aren\'t going to just hand the crown over.
I agree with him(what I made bold that is). Everything else I could care less about. I really couldn\'t give a flying **** whether Nintendo or Sony dominates I\'m just in this to play games. **** a lot of you don\'t seem to care about games anymore. It seems a lot of people don\'t realize that with SEGA gone Nintendo is the only real game company left in the business.
If Nintendo goes the way of SEGA then we\'ll be left with two consoles manufactured by electronics companies that have absolutely no personality. Just a bunch of third party games that could very well be on all consoles, might as well develop a standard and make buying a game console like buying a VCR.
Nintendo is the only company left that gives gamers something they want, but don\'t realize they want. This is called innovation, and it\'s something we\'ll never see on MS\' and Sony\'s over-engineered consoles.

No I just prefer sony and M$ over them. For example I think ps1 was a million times better than n64. As for gamecube I don\'t see nothing that really interest me on the system. So far ps2 and xbox has WAY more games I\'m interested in.

Well I do care who makes the systems, because the way the systems are designed is an integral part of the gaming experience.
And your last comment is just retarded. You seem to judge how good a system was by how succesful it was, which is a load of crap. Where the hell were you when PD, Goldeneye, BK, M64, Zelda OoT/ MM, Mario Kart, SSB, Blast Corps and Superman 64 were released?
All of these titles can easily stand with the absolute best on PS one.

Well as for them nintendo games I still think ps1 had better games. You can shove those nintendo games where the sun don\'t shine if you get what I\'m saying. I\'m not judging it on success I had a million times more enjoyment out my ps1 than n64. If you can\'t take it...........SUCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

graphically, all those games look like ass xept for mario 64...which was one of the sharpest n64 games...as for the rest, nothing but a load of blur running at 15-24 fps...with crappy audio......gameplay wise i wouldnt know cause i returned my n64 before the rest of those games came out...i did play zelda but the music and graphics killed the \'zelda\' experience for me...

Like I said nintendo hasn\'t been the same since n64.......... I own a dc, 2 ps2, 2 ps1, and 2 computers as you can see I\'m an open gamer. I plan on getting an xbox as well. Its just that I\'m sick of nintendo and there crap. :thepimp: :thepimp:

I have my reason they have limited support(again like n64), there was to many droughts on n64, they didn\'t have any good fighting games(which happens to be my fav genre), no good racing games, and no good rpgs. PS1 offered for me what nintendo couldn\'t thats all I\'m saying. Oh yeah nintendo takes wayyyyyyy to long to come out with there games for example the next zelda and mario game isn\'t coming out til summer 2002 in japan. How many forums did you post this topic on?? And it is easy for you too judge nintendo because they only launch with three games, but as more of there software gets in stores things will pick up.

maybe...but with the release of MGS2, FINAL FANTASY X and the XBOX, i dont see it happening....nintendo\'s sales wont pick up IMO until the release of RE remake, Zelda and Mario sunshine.

and the X box (sure to sell the odd unit here and there ;) )

Anyway, the NES was a great system. I loved it. The SNES was probably the best system ever. But I too really didn\'t enjoy the N64. Many of the games were blurry, low res, simple textured games with big headed cartoon characters running around jumping for coins while killing mushroom men.
There was virtually no 3rd party support because of N\'s gouging techniques and their first party games, some fun to play, took far too long to release.
There were some memorable moments on the N64 to be sure (M64, Zelda, GE), but too far and few between.

No, it\'s the other way around here. I go into detail with my argument, your\'s are always branched out with mindless opinions through-out. When ever I do engage in one of these anti-Nintendo topics, I always destroy the initial argument while insulting you for pleasure. Then, instead of debating, you start with this "Jumpman you\'re a fanboy ****" and this goes on for 3 pages until my brain explodes(and of course you think you\'ve won). and ignore the initial argument completely. Sometimes you go on about irrelevant matters about Nintendo(mainly opinions), but most of the time it\'s just direct insults at me.
Anyways, have fun talking about me. Insulting me seems to give you to great pleasures, atleast you guys have one thing to live for.
